Wow, this is almost laughable. Can you imagine Delta dick buying AA. Dickey boy must be real worried about the UAL&CAL merger. Nothing like buying your way back into the # 1 spot. Who's hand is he trying to force? This kind of reminds me for the nwa Midway buyout. I think the target is US Air this time.

If everyone is cutting back on their domestic and international flying what is the logic of attempting to buy American Airlines?

If the "Neo Cons" have their way we will have a military confrontation with Iran impacting our earnings for 2012.

Fuel speculators are the biggest enemy the airline have.

It's the Neo con's fault now? Sure it's not the Tea Party or George Bush?

Ms. Wasserman-Shultz, you really need to get out of your OWS tent more often.

When the US refuses to tap their own natural resources and instead rely heavily on a lot of unfriendly sources for energy, it leaves the entire country vulnerable to energy prices controlled by fanatical dictators and unstable governments.

Fuel hedging saved the airlines million in the past and it's also cost them extra during some periods. It's called capitalism....risk nothing-gain nothing.

Ur hatred of Richard Anderson is foremost in all of ur comments reguarding DAL. Kind of laughable because DAL is very healthy, profitable, large AL and is NOT in the bizness of size. Plz see route downsizing. Our Mgmt is making certain we serve markets where we are making money. DAL is making a hit on AMR so they can be in charge of who gets what when AMR is broken up and no longer exists. Keep ur smarts in the game buddy. Hatred makes you ignorant.

There is an echo in this statement. Where have I heard all this logic before? Oh yea I remember at SCABAIR when Dick was king about 15 years ago. It was in Dick speak then as it is now. Your just a whole new bunch who hasn't heard it yet and don't know better.

How can DAL be SCABAir when we have never been union? I forgot, you that hate Richard so much you make up ur own rules. Ur the single largest reason people don't vote unions any more. I'll grant you that allot of PMNW Mgmt were weak, nasty etc, but Richard Anderson isn't one of them. I work w/ PMNW employess all the time and never have I heard of such hatred for Mr Anderson. 2011 profit, 1 billion, profit sharing, wage/benefit increase. Whats to hate? U'll think of something.

Are you stupid about SCABS or just acting..I say your for real, just stupid! It's like the elephant in the room. SCABS everywhere and you don't see them. That is why you are ripe for Dick to break it off in your a$$.. By the way in my business I come across many Delta employees including pilots, Stewardesses, Techs, management etc. Not many like Delta as you say..Perhaps they are afraid with a company suck like you to tell you the truth!

Stewardesses? Huh? I will cut to the chase........ur a liar. U don't come across a bunch of DAL folks that hate DAL. Thats just a lie. FA's on 01Jan12 received a 9-12% pay raise depending on how many hrs they fly and whether those hrs are dom or intl. On Feb 14, 2012, the FA's will receive a profit sharing check 4 times larger than their union contract held out for. A PMNW FA that was on a month of reserve now just sits 3-9 days a month w/ a schedule they can swap/drop away. A reserves pay probably increased by 15-18%. There are no scabs @ DAL because we have never been union, ever. 9 elections, 9 times the vote was to dis-mantle the union hold. Does that mean the majority of DAL employees that voted no are stupid? Thats allot of stupid people running a profitable intl AL. Liars are stupid. Ur a liar. Then you suggest that all of the sudden PMNW folks are scared? The biggest lie you told. I have not come across any scared PMNW folks.

U been hyping these dire warnings for over 2 yrs now and none of what you proposed would happen, did happen. I wnt back and read a bunch of ur cryptic writings and I gotta say..........you are telling lies. Let me ask this..........if you come across so many DAL folks that hate their jobs and Corp., do you ever ask them why they stay? If it's so crappy @ DAL then its gotta be better elsewhere, right? BTW, I love Elephants, in the room, outside, doesn't really matter.

As one pilot put it, we stepped backwards to an antiquated system. Several pilots stated that the wages have been stagnant for years. Two stewardess stated the Delta Stewardesses won't get off their ass. They give service then run and hide. A person who does hiring stated the turnover rate is high because Delta doesn't want to pay anything. etc. etc. I see these people all the time. Now take this back to your Delta management and get these corrected. By the way I get a pension from Delta partly paid for by your labor. I don't want to see it go under. Your wages are so far behind now with the ticket prices climbing and that is good for me to keep getting the check each month. But stupidity is your nature since you don't get the elephant statement.

You can't say that about the maintenance end of delta. As for the rest of the pmnwa... they can decide for themselves if... crossing a legal pick line qualifies.

All it takes is bait.........and you took it. PNMW FA's hate PMDL FA's because they don't work. PMDL is not allowed to fly w/ PMNW until 01May2012. Because DAL is getting up to date in the tech. dept PMNW Pilots hate DAL. That's just a lie. BTW, we haven't had Stewardess since 1972, something I'm sure you lament.'A' person who hires @ DAL says turnover is high because of low wages........either they are a liar or you are. In some dept turnovers have been historically high given the nastiness of the job. OK? Oh I get the Elephant statement just like I get the Stewardess reference. Ur old, ur ideas are old, ur hatred is old, ur concept of how a multi-national, multi-cultural Corp should be run is old and glad to have you old farts off the campus. I don't doubt you 'see things' cause age will do that. Old man, old ideas. Now address this.........if its so bad @ DAL then why don't ur friends quit? Its gotta be better elsewhere. As we continue to get rid of haters like you it makes room for the savvy worker to join our team.

You can't see the forest for the trees..Never said that stewardesses were working together and I don't know if they were or weren't.Just know they were on some of your flights and observed differences as to what SCABAIR did on their flights. Basically the SCABAIR employees deem the old Delta employees as lazy.

Old Man..........divide and die.........a union motto well worth retiring. Glad we got rid of you. Lots of pension-eers. Most of them pro-DAL. Alas, a man getting a check from people he hates, thats you. I work for my pension, not urs. U must be in the 80's by now to keep referring to FA's as Stews. Mentioned ur still working. Hope I am not like you. Bitter, old, mad and still working. UGH

When you work for yourself it is a whole different ballgame. Fun challenging and profitable. I call that retirement supreme. The cash you earn for me is chump change. But thanks for working your a$$ off for me. I have no power to divide and don't really care. Your pissed because someone is pissing on your utopia. I am informing you that there are other employees who don't trust you and have been screwed over by Dick in the past and trust him less. By the way Dick is about my age does that make him old and past his time? You don't have a fixed pension that is growing anymore Dick took that away. He may have did that so you could help pay mine!!lol

The best bait yet. I'm not pissed just royally amused by ur ignorance. If ur Richards age then you are pulling ur pension @ such neg #'s that I am not working to fund you. Ur telling me that other employees who don't trust me? Hee hee. Old man. Divide and die is over. The majority rules and the majority @ DAL is a team that works for the greater goal for all of us. I think working my ass off is a compliment in this day and time when so many are out of work. I never used the term 'Utopia'......I work for DAL. I am proud to work for DAL. I am making a great living working for DAL. I have great benefits working for DAL. I believe that the current Mgmt team is dong a great job. You hate DAL, you hare Richard, you hare those of us that believe in Richard. it doesn't matter the reasons. Ur a spurned person. Left w/ hatred. U never answered my question. If you talk to DAL employees that hate DAL, do you ever ask them why they stay? Why would they stay when they all could start their own biz just like you. Starting a biz that gives you enough time to follow the dealings of DAL. Funny.

Well I don't want to get in to all the hate going on but I will be surprised if Delta could get approval to buy AA. However it would be much better for the AA employees if Delta gets AA than for them to get bought out by USAir. I am not against it but the AA mtc. guys sure might be when Delta tries to convert all their A/C to Sceptre, LOL!
