I went to Cuts by us yesterday to get my hair cut and I noticed the sign that said "save the shrimp" so I asked my stylist what is up with that, she said they are saving all the hair they cut and sending it to make mats to help soak up the oil in the gulf. This is very interesting, please take a minute to watch and encourage the place where you get your hair cut or your dog groomed to do the same thing!
