I think that they should NOT beable to touch the strippers and i also belive that they should NOT give out lap dances. I know alot of married men go into these places and i know that there wives would not be happy if they knew that there was another women on her mans lap rubbing her self all over him. I have been to some of these clubs and alot of the girls do not go by the rules now.
I have seen some ronchy things.

What is this nation coming to?

What HAS this nation come to?

Get rid of ALL of this smut!

Let's get a president in office who will actually work toward RIDDING this nation of strip clubs all together!

To those who want strip clubs, I say, "Grow up, you perverts!"

To those who want to see a president with morals in office, I say, "May God bless you, and Vote Pete Grasso for President in 2008!"

*a special thanks to Mr. Grasso for giving us someone worthy to vote for in 2008...

Tom Tancredo would be a great president. I used to post online about him. However it is pretty common knowledge on the political scene that Romney and Rudy are the two in the Republican competition now and that most likely Romney will get it.

So considering that Tom Tancredo, at this time, is tied into the Republican part, he is most likely not going to be in the running after the primaries.

I was getting used to the fact that if no one else of quality ran, I would just sit this next presidential election out. God calls His children to do all things unto Him -- I just could not pull a lever and vote for Romney or Rudy. So I am very thankful that Pete Grasso announced his bid for the presidency as an Independent.

But if Tom Tancredo does get it... It would be great to have TWO great Christian conservatives running. And it would be about time.

Best to you,
Debra...

The strip clubs aren't the problem. A lot of the problems start with bible beaters stuffing their religion down everyone elses throat. Not everyone is christian and not everyone needs to live by christian values. I would like to see someone run for president that will leave out his religious beliefs and start taxing all these churches.

If all the churches were to stop being tax-exempt a Christian man would have an easier time getting into office.

You ask, "Why is that, Debra?"

The reason is because organizations that are 501 C(3)(Tax Exempt) cannot as an organization endorse a candidate without losing their tax exempt status. As a result (sadly) many ministers stay quiet all-together.

It is really only those who donate and fill out a "Schedule A" form on their taxes that benefit from the churches being tax-exempt anyway. Why? Because the churches themselves would still be able to be 'non profit'-which means if a business does not make a profit, the business does not pay taxes anyway.

But, if it should ever happen, that they cannot be tax-exempt at all, WOW! All HEAVEN will break out on earth!

Don't we already have christian men in office. But thanks for the tax lesson. Lastly isn't it a bit naive to actually believe that Grasso could actually make a run for president. Seems like a big waste of time and resources.

This law is a good example of our elected officials being strong armed,by an overly zealous group, the CCV.It's time people wake up and realize these "do-gooders" groups are trying to control everyone's life, with their own beliefs.

Wake up!!!!!!!!!! Before all of our rights are gone.

My wife and I both go to the strip clubs. Good times. I could care less about touching...but the no nudity after midnight? That's just crazy! If you do not like strip clubs, do not go. If you have a problem with me going, get a life and mind your business! Is it immoral to go to a strip club...? Depends who you ask! Oral sex is immoral to some......but I bet everyone here has done it!

Can someone explain to me please why it is that nudity is worse after midnight ? Ha. That is just someone's stupid opinion. I thought this out, and maybe the no-touch thing makes sense, maybe. But the nudity after midnight ? I had to laugh at that one. So, It's ok if I'm nude at 2 in the afternoon ? But not after midnight.

The Citezens for Community Values is a bogus group of people that say they are religious, but every single thing they are doing goes against what Jesus would have done. CCV, you need to look in the mirror first. You need to read about Jesus and compare things he did to what you are doing and you will see.

I would like to see the study they did on the ill effects of strip clubs on communities, if said exists. Strip clubs are already placed in the worst kinds of neighborhoods as they are prohibited in finer areas. I really think they should have to make this study public as I feel it would be a good read.

Who gives a damn???

Why are christians forcing their own moral values on others? I have no problem with a church compelling its followers to stay away from such establishments, but why force the entire populace to do so?

Christians need to realize that their moral values do not apply to all people, and therefore should not be applied to all people. Just because you disapprove of something, does not mean that whatever group you belong to should enforce legislation to prohibit it!!!

Live and let live, damn it!

You're absolute right, number1mom, and I think that we should install sophisticated surveillance systems in every major city which tracks every man and ensures that they stay absolute faithful to their wives at all times. Perhaps someday we can have systems that monitor the thoughts of all men to ensure that they are not thinking scandalous thoughts. Praise Jesus!!!
