Nun, 80, denied early release in Milwaukee sex abuse case

How old was these guys when this happened? 16? Please.

It doesn't matter how old they were, as long as they were under the age of 18, they weren't legally adults. Any person who is in a position of authority over kids of any age has an obligation to not abuse them in any way. Would you say the same thing if it was a 16 year old girl who had been sexually abused by a priest? That she was old enough to have fought him off? Why is it different because they were boys and the abuser was a nun? Would you say the same if they had been abused by a priest? Get off the double standard. Sexual abuse is sexual abuse, no matter the age of the child or the gender of the abuser.

She refused to go to a medical facility. If her health is really that much of a concern then she should go to the medical facility otherwise sorry if she dies it's because of her own choice to refuse better medical treatment just because it's a prison institution. I didn't read anything in the article that indicated that she was suffering from any kind of dementia so she made her own choice.

And so what if the boys were 16? She was 40, an adult in a position of authority. Wrong is wrong.

The judge must figure that this 80 year woman is much more dangerous than any of the hundreds of felons granted early release every year because of "good behavior" while imprisoned.
These two "gentlemen" who, after forty years, decided that this nun had to go to jail must be really proud of themselves. After all, it must have been truly traumatic to have been made love to by a nun. Every Catholic boys nightmare. Wonder if she was a looker?

Sarah ! I guess a female? Right? Well Take it from a guy boys age 15-19 will hump just about anything. These two I'm sure were gay and were mad the preacher didn't get them first. This is just their way of getting back at her. Why else would you wait 40 frickin years.

Sheesh there's no winning with you guys. You whine and complain about the double standard that lets female offenders off easier than male offenders yet when someone advocates that a female offender be treated according to law you say that the guys who reported her should just shut up.

She has to do her time to pay for what she did regardless of her health. Alot of criminals die in jail. That is part of the consequence of being a criminal. In her case a pervert!

I don't know why, but this sounds like every school boy's fantasy come true to me. I thought about it, and I would have been one happy kid.

Hopefully she'll die in prison. Just one year for 2 statutory rapes? I'll bet the school janitor wouldn't get just 1 year if he'd done 2 school girls in the janitor's closet.

I was raised Catholic but do not practice this or any religion any longer, but just the thought of having sex with a priest or a nun gives me the heebee-jeebees! Who could possibly do such a thing? These 2 men surely will have to answer to a higher authority on their judgement day!

I went to a catholic school for a couple had a few fine nuns there. I would of if they would of....

They were 16 years old & having sex with a 40 year old woman and feel "victimized"? GET REAL. Time for the two losers to move on & let this woman, who dedicated her life to the Church and teaching children, to die in peace. Sad it happened but get over it.

Let's see, I had sex as a high school student with a very cool college football player four years older than I. I think he manipulated me & took advantage of me & by gum, I think I'm not over it & am going to ruin his life 30 years later.
