If you humanoids can't afford school supplies then how can you afford children? Makes no sense at all. Humanity should stop reproducing, they are the dumbest creatures on this planet.

I don't care WHY kids don't have these supplies, I know they are needed and I do my best to help. When I went
to school there were always classmates in need and I
am pushing sixty,.

These families seem to come up with the money when their kid wants a pair of shoes with some over paid athletes name on them. Support your kids education not the million dollar athlete.

The Lord says there will always be the poor. We should always help those who have less than we do. "If you do it unto the least of these, you do it unto me."
Bless you for organizing the "Stuff the Bus" to help children in need.

Are there additional locations to drop off? I have the supplies but I have no reason to drive 40 minutes into downtown just to drop them off. It's a shame the local Great Clips aren't collecting if they are official sponsors.

The teachers who pick up these supplies need to remember that they are for the kids. I am not saying all the teachers do not give out the supplies, but there are a lot of them who keep them for themselves, family, and friends. I know personal of a school in cleveland that gets supplies and puts them in a closet never to use them in the classrooms but as thier own person shopping plaza for the own kids and family. It is those people that make it hard for one to want to give. I wonder if there is a way to give the supplies to the kids not the teachers.

If LaShequia didnt have to get her nails done, she just might have money for school supplies for the kiddies. Or she could ax the babies daddy!!!

Collecting school supplies for poor kids is a great idea, but why donate them ONLY to the Cleveland and East Cleveland School Districts? There are needy kids in every school district across the fox8 viewing area. It is pure discrimination to collect from everywhere but donate it to only CMSD/EC schools. Thanks but I will take my donation to my local elementary school.

I think that's a wonderful thing that you do for the kids. Cleveland has alot of heart when it comes to the programs that helps these kids get the knowledge and tools to be successful. Cleveland rocks !!!!!!!!

Well lets see now, we get free lunches including summer vacations and what not, hot breakfast for all and now we get school supplies for our poor BLACK and the rest of the kids from where ever are overlooked again. How nice, maybe we can get donations from pharmacuticals and bullets for all. Nice job channel eight.

Since the welfare people all have new cars and all new name brand clothes for themselves and their kids I guess one you pay 200.00 for a pair for Jordon's you don't have no money for school supplies let the welfare pay for it like they do everything else and let the welfare continue to help those whom don't need it and the welfare does not help those who do need it. I know of this one building where nobody works they all get welfare and social security check and they are all very capable they need to get off their fat lazy***** and get a job and yet they are driving Lexus,Cadillac Escalade,Navigator,Infiniti,an d one even has a Jaguar and yet none of those people have a job but they can afford all of these cars it sure must be nice to not work and live the life of riley and have a nice car

im struggling hours got cut back im behind in all my bills..any assistance for adults..not school supplies not like monetry in kind financial help.

Well, the supplies are given to the teachers, right?? Not to the parents/homes of the kids. So when the teacher tells the class to write something and John Doe has no writing equipment, TA DA, trot out the supplies from Stuff The Bus. At least, I thought that was how things worked.
Of course, they probably got a pile of stuff, not such few items as to have a few in a drawer. But this way it doesn't have to come from the teachers pocket.
I run a cash register and have to have people sign things, etc. I am always supplying pens. And more.

I even bought some school supplies for work. So if someone asks for paper I can give them notebook paper. At least thats on sale.
