Duke Energy says Rogers received almost $27.5M

Duke Energy Corp. President and Chief Executive James E. Rogers received compensation the company valued at nearly $27.5 million in 2006, according to a regulatory filing made Wednesday.

Maybe Mr Rogers would like to supply some of that money toward the upgrade of our electricity transmission so we are not turned off from 3 to 7 days after a weather event while 'the folks accross the street' in Hendersonville, NC has electricity.

Perhaps Mr Rogers could use some of this money to improve the electricity transmission to our area in Hendersonville, NC. Being without electricity for 3 to 7 days after a weather event while the city around us has electricity doesn't seem reasonable.
