Right on target. These bums were judged by their fellow thieves, but our turn to judge will come.

Message to Dodd: Please start cleaning out your desk. Moving day will be here before you know it. Anybody but Dodd is coming soon.

Let's remember it was a bipartisan committee who investigated him. Trust me, if any Republican could have found a way to find guilty the Senator who is leading healthcare reform they sure as heck would have! Not to mention, if Dodd had done anything illegal he would have been charged and prosecuted.
CT constituents sure have short memories. Try "investigating" Dodd's legislative record as a Senator and you'll find that he's done much for not only CT constituents, but all U.S. citizens. He's also a well-respected member of the Senate Foreign Relations committee by not only his colleagues, but foreign governments. Or better yet, go read the 18,000 pages of documents and witness testimony from this Ethics Committee investigation. They concluded that Dodd violated no rules when refinancing his mortgages. There was no "sweetheart" or special deal; the allegations are and have always been false.
It amazes me when those who are feeling so righteous about throwing Dodd under the bus for participating in a VIP program due to his stellar credit, are the same people who would jump at the chance to save money and participate in VIP programs for their mortgages, car payments, car and home insurance, airline flights, bank accounts, etc. Heck, if you pay your car insurance on line you get a discount over someone who may have a better credit and insurance record than you but doesn't own a computer! And that's considered VIP treatment.

It's your ISP.

Let's face it, his lack of candor has said everything we need to know about him. The Senate's "standard" for ethics is soft, which even the Committee noted.

Lack of candor about the mortgages, about the AIG bonuses, the cottage, etc.

Your rationalization is like people praising Benito M. for getting Italian trains running on time...

When it comes to "Ethics" fellow senators,no matter the party, are very understanding. Go back and review bith the House and Senate history.
Dodd is doing all he can to keep his job but the cloud just won't go away. He is very much like his father--questionable ethics. He is the Nixon of our time. He and his junior senator need to find jobs like the rest of America.

Amazing! They want us to believe that he was "too dumb" to understand a sweetheart deal for himself.

But he is brilliant enough to chair the Senate banking committee for the whole country.

Dodd is pure,unadulterated scum.
A drunk who got caught when his drinking buddy started to die and could not longer cover is ass.
Joe and Dodd are two of the worst in the senate and THAT is saying something!
The fact that Joe got re-elected says something too.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
