Tell me that Dodd didn't register as a resident of Iowa during the caucuses during his unsuccessful "run"
for president so that his children would have the benefit of Iowan state tuition reduction.
Tell me that Dodd didn't know that he was getting preferential treatment from Countrywide Mortgage while sitting as the chairman of the Senate Banking Committee.
And, wasn't his father, Thomas Dodd, censured by the Senate for unethical practices during the 1950's? Hmmmm...the apple really doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?
Does this guy really think that he's going to be re-elected to the Senate?
I'm a registered Democrat and will be one of the most vocal opponents of Dodd's run for re-election.

Dodd knew what he was doing but the democratic ethics committee is deathly afraid of losing their 60 member majority. Add to that the rat republicans who jumped ship on the recent hearings and we get what we created. We sent the Dems to Washington in a landside majority and there is no way they are going to give even 1 seat. Dodd lied and this panel swore to it. We deserve what we get in this state. Its not like we weren't fully aware that Dodd's father was a disgrace and now his son walks proudly in his footsteps.

The Senate "cleared" Dodd?! Is this suppose to be a joke? Yeah, I am so sure the Senate was going to find him in the wrong. He was already caught lying about this, toobad our media is too liberal to report on that.

This guy is a bum and he better get voted out next year.

What the hell!!!! I do not care that his friends in the senate cleared him. I am not voting for Dodd. I am a democrat and I say every democrat should really think about their vote in 2010. I am also thinking about voting republican if Dodd is in the democratic ticket.

All I have to say to Chris Dodd is what Oliver Cromwell said to the Rump Parliament.........."You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately ... Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!"
