Nobody at the Courant would have the slightest idea how to read a mortgage estimate or HUD-1 if it jumped up and explained itself. The paper is financially illiterate and devoid of basic financial knowledge from the lowest intern to the editor in chief. For a profession that supposedly prides itself on asking tough questions, the journalism of the HC is incompetent, uninterested and lazy when it comes to ANYTHING financial, from Dodd's corrupt mortgage bribe to the true cost of cockamamie legislation that continues to spew from their idiot neighbors at the capitol building. My point is that anyone who is okay with acts of corruption for the sake of saving a senate seat for any political party is out of their minds and IMHO not fit to vote.
