The Democratoc Machine that gives us Dodd, gave us Bubba Clinton who outsourced our industrial base to China and with Hillary on the board of Directors at Walmart, they completed the deal. The Ct Dem Machine does not have any candidate to replace Dodd, as they breed programed idiot candidates who toe the line. It would be more Dodds and Larsons.

Alfred E Newman Esq wrote: When the Courant doesn't like reader responses, it does what any good totalitarian, Orwellian media speak group does, it changes the story a bit in order to erase all those wonderful comments about how inept Mahony and the Courant are. It's right out of "Animal Farm". Sorry guys, the Courant is still a hack paper and a pathetic apologist for Dudd. Any highschooler could write this article, with their feet up on the desk and their hands behind their head. Nothing in this story that required the least bit of journalistic effort on either the Courant's or Mahony's part. Do you think we'll read a headline saying the Courant is aggressively pursuing this story? Naw, it's Chris Dudd (D) CT. Nobody at the Courant would have the slightest idea how to read a mortgage estimate or HUD-1 if it jumped up and explained itself. The paper is financially illiterate and devoid of basic financial knowledge from the lowest intern to the editor in chief. For a profession that supposedly prides itself on asking tough questions, the journalism of the HC is incompetent, uninterested and lazy when it comes to ANYTHING financial, from Dodd's corrupt mortgage bribe to the true cost of cockamamie legislation that continues to spew from their idiot neighbors at the capitol building. As long as Dodd continues to return phone calls for a puffed-up Ted Baxter-ish quote they'll continue to drool at his feet.

Bingo the Cat wrote: <quoted text> Suave, bro. Not sure what you mean here by "Sauve". My point is that anyone who is okay with acts of corruption for the sake of saving a senate seat for any political party is out of their minds and IMHO not fit to vote. Isn't that what you meant by "Democrats need to keep the the seat at all costs." Any corrupt democrat or republican should be ousted from their post and replaced - how can anyone argue with that??
