Given who is throwing the rocks, I'll wait until he is charged or proven quilty of an offense.
And Ted Kennedy (Democrat) left Mary Jo Kopneche at the bottom of a canal, Clinton (Democrat) committed perjury, William Jefferson (Democrat) Louisana committed bribery (90K in cash in his freezer) Dan Rostenkowski (Democrat) house banking scandal, Daschle (Democrat) tax evasion Geithner (Democrat) Tax evasion and Obama (Democrat) admitted cocaine user and Hartford's mayor Eddie Perez (Democrat) Accused of bribery

Oscar! Watch Dodd Pretend He Doesn’t Know Countrywide Mozilo’s Name

Just in time for the Oscars, Chris Dodd makes his bid for Best Actor in a Corrupt Role ...

On this weekend’s Journal Editorial Report on FNC, host Paul Gigot interviewed Kevin Rennie of the Hartford Courant, who has been closely following the story of the sweetheart deal Dodd, Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, received from Countrywide Financial under the “Friends of Angelo” program, a reference to Countrywide CEO Angelo Mozilo.

The segment opened with a clip of Dodd speaking with reporters at a recent meeting at which he made available a carefully selected set of papers about the deal.

CHRIS DODD: I’ve never been a friend of Angelo Mozilo’s, uh, Mozila?

The screenplay of Dodd’s little bit doesn’t do justice to the acting skills he displayed. You really have to watch the video to appreciate how, in feigned confusion, he turns to someone off camera for help in getting this Angelo fellow’s last name right. Lawrence Olivier doesn’t have a patch on the Nutmeg State thespian.

Gigot went on to mention that by one estimate, Dodd benefited to the tune of $70,000 from the sweetheart deal. As for Dodd’s denial that he was aware of being on the Friends of Angelo list, a former Countrywide exec is quoted saying, with impeccable logic:

“The senator did know that he was a VIP. That was the whole point of the program. Why else have a VIP program if the VIPs didn’t know who they were?”

Be sure to tune into the Oscars on February 22nd. Should be interesting to see who Dodd thanks for his award.

We are the ones who keep putting the same people back in power should hang our heads in complete shame! The House and Senate of the United states needs a big enema that would be the cure, then we start again with new people who would sit up and listen when we made our concerns known to them. sounds like a plan to me.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Scorpio

Today's Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon stirs up powerful emotions during the next two weeks (as it has done since the Gemini Solar Eclipse last month), and it may not be a very pleasant experience. Are you feeling rather compulsive and obsessive? Financial issues could be a problem,, especially if they appear to threaten your sense of emotional security. Don't let jealousy or envy make you do things that will set other people against you.
