You know something odd went on. I remember a video clip of Angelo Mozilo making fun of the other lenders several years ago for making sub-prime garbage loans. He said this is great because his company will be the last one standing after all the others fold from bad loans. Then he does an about face and trashes the company by doing the exact same thing. If I were the Feds, I'd look at who was dumping stock while Mozilo was propping up the company by trashing it making garbage loans. Countrywide was called the 34,000% stock because that is how much the stock increased in value since 1982.

You really are an idiot with absolutley no clue as to the reality of the mortgage crisis. You probably didn't even read the article. You just wanted to rant about Bush. If you did, let me break it down for you: Lenders didn't follow federal guidlines for lending and loaned money to people who couldn't afford the loans and had no common sense not to take them. So, where does Bush play into this? |
