Oh, boy...$170 whole dollars.

This is the Teflon Leprachaun's way of being able to cover up for the fact that he failed on one of his key campaign promises.....to stop the BGE rate hikes.

He lies and lies and lies, and the General Assembly does his bidding for him.

Man we come cheap! Where are all the NO'Malley supporters? Everyone who voted for this evil midget should give their $170 dollars to someone who didn't.

It's embarrassing to live in this state along side of these liberals who vote along party lines instead of seeking out the best person for the job.

The single biggest mistake in Maryland politics...Martin NO'Malley.
Our grandchildren will be paying for this for many years to come.

This si the worst thing that could of happened. I see Sen. McFadden folded under pressure. He is a weak man not to stand up and vote what is best for the people. Shame on you sir. All the others who voted for the refund should be voted out of office. but I know the stupid people in maryland will reelect you all and the politicians know this too.

Please keep the money and use it to help regulate the ever growing energy monopolies, what the hell good is $170.00 rebate when you have jacked my electric bills by over 70%. When will those in Annapolis stop insulting our intelligence, stupid question, the answer is never as long as stupid people continue to vote party line. O'Malley keep up the great work, I don't have to ask he, Bush, or Miller what’s in their wallet I already know.

This is NOT a rebate--it's a CREDIT to our overpriced bills! If it were a rebate, we would get a check in the mail. With that piddly little amount to apply to our huge (or soon to be huge) BGE bills--Thanks for NOTHING! What a bunch of hooey!

More of the same from the Maryland MOB (Miller, O'Malley, and Bush). All you hear about these days is the pressure delegates get to vote against their conscience (like Bobby Zirkin and McFadden). They are told to go along or it will be bad for their career. Well since when has public service been a career! They don't even bring a vote to the floor now until the strong arm tactics are used and the votes extorted. The MOB has to go....we need statemen....not professional politicians.

$170 won't buy any more votes that MOM didn't have before. In fact, in the long run he's lost votes by continually insulting the intelligence of the voter.

"Today, we have the opportunity to approve a rollback of $2 billion of overcharges of ratepayers in the past," he said. "And tomorrow, the fight to end deregulation continues, because nothing in this legislation will stop it."

Language like that will certainly cause Constellation and BGE to be very cautious in investing any additional money in Maryland.

Basically what these folks are saying is that you should never trust us to honor an agreement, as if we didn't already know that.

All goes to show you how lawyers know nothing outside of the law. MOM may do the impossible, convert Marylanders to be Republicans. Else he will chase out all Marylanders and be left with the illegals. But at least that will get him re-elected.

Yeah and it will turn the state into a larger version of Baltimore City. A bunch of people with their hands out and nobody left to give them anything.

I live in South B-more...and I do not understand why people keep electing the same people/party over and over again. They promise, better schools, less crime, yadda yadda yadda. Yet a lot of people believe that $170 "rebate" is a fix? Obviously, the City is one of the worst cities in the country per capita, not only because of the politicians, but also because people believe their crap.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
