Citi used to be a great place to work until November 2008. During November 2008, Citi slowly converted to a Collections site. Ever since then, things have gone down hill. The employees have been forced to Inbound Collections, then to Outbound Collections. Teams have been changed, managers changed and lastly a recent lay off of Citi Managers. Every other day Citi changes their operations. I must say the wrong managers were laid off during the last lay off. DW - the OM that hates confrontations and RC (lazy eye Lucy) who is quite possibly, the fakest person ever should have been included in the lay offs. These two are still employed and are still wreaking havoc with the employees that they don't like. Too Bad DW is cheating with some of the female reps at Citi.

What citi doesnt tell the employes that the attemps they have made to work from home keep failing then they send the employes back to the site then in the end they fire them what they are trying to do is send you home then find an excuse to fire one by one so it doesnt look bad to the media that way citi doesnt have to call it a lay off of 500 employes they are the most deciving bank there is

Best to find another job

I agree with all of you! The writing is on the wall. Albuquerque site is in the process of closing it's doors. Citibank will not be replacing anyone who is laid off, fired or people who quit. The work from home program will be in place until Citibank Albuquerque transitions all of their work to India. At that point Citibank Albuquerque will lay off all of the people that are working from home. Citi needs to quit lying to all of their employees and tell them the truth. Employees of Citi need to be prepared and get their resumes ready.

Well now another round of lay offs. This one comes a mere month after the Unit Managers were set up to work from home. After working from home for a little less than a month - the Unit Managers are being laid off/let go one right after the other. The writing is on the wall - the Albuquerque site is doomed. One of the Operations Managers, DW lied to several of the Unit Managers faces and told them that they had nothing to worry about and that they would keep their jobs. It's sad to see that this Operations Manager DW still has a job - he is quite simply the worst of the worst as far as managers goes yet the Unit Managers are the one that are getting laid off! Citi sucks and so does Dale W!

The reverse split is a move done by desperate and broke companies. This bank is done and won't be missed.

I don't know... If there's plans for a stock by back, and there's suggestions all around that there is a buy back planned, if you KNOW that the market typically doesn't buy into these reverse splits, and that these reverse splits typically result in a drop in stock price, it's kind of a smart thing to do.
Cause you're own stock to drop 10% in value, then buy at that premium, one or two quarters prior to expected significant returns.
It would suggest a level of forethought Citi typically doesn't demonstrate, but still...
