The sad thing is that Americans don't relise that the name Budweiser was stolen from the brewary of not only the real Budweiser, but from the same brewary that started the first official Pilsner, Pilsner Urquell.

Why do you call it the European Union? Europe has not changed it's name, the EU is just a group of countries in Europe. We still call it Europe!

P.S. Skol seems a bit out of place when talking about Belgian, Czech and American beers. It should be either "Op uw gezondheid", "Na zdraví" or cheers ;)

Honestly this is no great loss. Since Budweiser introduced it's "fresh beer" concept the company has produced beer that can only be compared with lizzard piss.

I say the Belgiums can have it. Perhaps they'll manage to return a great company to it's former glory.

Budweiser is generally laughed at as a beer.. commonly referre to as american piss.. at least in Europe... Why it is so popular in the the US is beyond me... it really sucks.
