The Belgians can have this pi$$-water bottler. Maybe Americans will learn to drink real beer. We have plenty of micro-brewers in this country. Let's support them.

Seems like everything in our country is for sale, and this kind of sale is not good for hundreds of folks and not good for America.

Another American Company in the hands of the foreign market! What a shame! It is only a matter of time before our great nation eventually succumbs to the "Global Village" and is relegated to nothing more than just another third world entity that pays homage to the inner sanctum that is driving the engine of a One World Govermnment! Like sheep to the slaughter we continue to move forward, totally oblivious to the coming perils, closer and closer we move toward that precipice of no return!

Another US company gone...the destruction of the US, piece by piece..one day it will all be gone..then what?
Thanks to the greedy people who formerly owned AB...you are traitors..not traders...traitors to the United States of America...
I'm grieving for the United States that used to be..
It's not just this sale...but all that have taken place and the ones that will follow...
WAKE UP AMERICA...

With the new ownership, maybe we can see lower prices for a six-pack ahead; efficiencies can be gained by shifting breweries to plants in Mexico and China.

Thank You George W. Bush. Most of our standard bearers are now in control of foreigners. Bush reminds me of Homer Simpson Safety Inspector at the nucler plant but always sleeping at the switch while disaster strikes. But He is among other things a beloved husband, father, bowler, boozer, etc. At least Homer can pronounce "nuclear".

Just like the city of Cleveland sued to keep the Browns image because it represented the city. I think American law makers need to step up and block the use of red white and blue on the budweiser packaging since it is no longer American.

When the parks get sold off, we'll see people laid off, fewer animals, cheaper sets, and higher prices.

The Clydesdales will be put on treadmills to generate electricity for the parks. That's when they're not hauling your kids on their backs, ten at a time.

And as a final move, when the new company goes to hell, they'll sell Orlando to the State of Florida, to join the Weeki Watchi Women as the state aims to corner the failed theme park market.

On a more strategic note, Disney seems to have found a way to become the pre-eminent animal park owner, by just waiting for the other guys to go away...

So true, so true... It is one thing for American companies to find cheaper labor elsewhere, while maintaining ownership here. But when the stocks are all transferred overseas we are at the control of others. And please do not blame Bush, it was well in place before hand and has been condoned by our congress for years.

I am sure she will be paid for stocks owned publicly, but she owns a distributorship which is seperate from the manufacturing. With current law each level of the alcohol industry is kept divided. Manufacturing, distribution and retail.
