Bausch and Lomb Eye Solution

I have been using it and have had irritated eyes for about a month.

Do you think your eyes are "irritated" because of the new scare?

I have had burning in the eyes after I use it.........and now have a flare up.....???

After using the solution with moistureloc for about a month and a half, I too started experiencing dry eyes and irritation constantly. I though maybe it was just the pollen in the air due to seasonal changes!!!

I have almost a full bottle. Does anyone know if we can return for a refund to buy another type of solution?

If the stores in UK removed them from shelf then that's because Bausch&Lomb suggested them to remove Renu Moistureloc (specific brand) and urge you to stop using that specific product. You can switch to other Renu product.

RENU Multi-Purpose Solution,
RENU with Moistureloc Multi-Purpose Solution, and
RENU MultiPlus Multi-Purpose Solution No Rub.
I had trouble with itching eyes with the RENU Multi-Purpose Solution so I stopped using it. The other two types are being shown in the news photos.
Which of these are linked to fusarium keratitis?

The onely solution undergoing investigation is the one with moistureloc,the other solutions have been efectively used on different markets world wide for several years now.

I have been using a solution called AMO Complete Moisture Plus given to me by my eye doctor when I bought my last contact lens and I too notice that when I use the small bottle during the day to moisten my contacts, they feel drier in a few minutes..actually worse. This product says it is made in Spain so I dont know if it is a generic of B&L or not. Have any of you ever heard of this type of solution? I am having swollen lids and rough red corners with alot of matter developing in the inner corner of both eyes. My sight gets blurry and my eyes are noticeably uncomfortable and unclear. I guess I should go see my eye doctor right away. I am thinking that this solution has similiar ingredients in it since it is called moisture plus. I have a bottle of ReNu Multi Plus No Rub solution and I am wondering if it is ok to use. Is there a site that gives manf. no. and dates and exact names that we need to be on the look out for? I cant seem to find that information on here. I dont see an expiration date on my bottles.

My niece has just been rushed to a corneal specialist in the Orlando,FL area. She is 14 years old and has been using the AMO Complete Moisture solution. Her Opthamologist found a fungal infection in her eye and said she had corenal damage and asked her mother to rush her to this specialist. I am anxiously waiting the outcome of this doctor visit. Have you had any more trouble with your eyes since this last post in May??

My 16 year old daughter started having redness in her right eye on Wednesday. Thursday morning she woke up and her eye was completely red, painful and very sensitive to light. We got her in to see the eye doctor. He said there was a bacteria in her eye and took her off of the Complete Moisture Plus. Luckly it was caught in time and her eye doesn't have any scarring.

Well.. i'm using this solution called Amo Complete Moisture Plus D'hydratation and is there something wrong with that?? Is it the same as the Complete Moisture Plus?? I'm a new contact wearer, i just started on Sept. 1 or something like that. Please, someone tell me ok? Thanks

My 12 year old used this solution and also had a fusarium keratitis which was diagnosed as quickly as you possible. Despite the rapid diagnosis and aggressive treatment she still required an emergency corneal transplant.
The CDC and FDA were notified and have posted this but have yet to contact us. She had her contacts for less than 2 months and was meticulous with her care of them. I would highly recommend that contact lens wearers use a hyddrogen peroxide based formula ,such as Clear Care, until much more research is done.

I was wondering if the AMO brand complete moisture plus contact solution made in spain is dangerous because so far I've only seen warnings on the ones from china?

do you guys know if Bausch & Lomb sensitive eyes plus is safe to use????

4 days ago, I suffered the most horrible eye infection. I was using the AMO Complete Moisture Plus solution. My eye was a dark red color and the sensitivity to light was horrendous. I live in the UK, is it possible the batches here are contaminated. I am still treating the infection with an ointment and my eye still feels sore.

i am currently using "amo complete moisture plus". and so far no problems (yet!!) however i have a friend who uses this solution and she got fubgal keritis.
She was diaanosed by her optition as having a bacterial infection and was given drops to clear it which did not work. She then went to her GP and he rushed her to hospital in which she stayed for a number of weeks.

please.....do you guys know if Bausch & Lomb sensitive eyes plus is safe to use that is the only solution i have now and i am worrying if it can cause an eye infection.. very urgent...need a response....
