What made Chavez level such a claim? I hardly believe we will be told.
The mere fact that Chaved took Venezuela back from bankers and big oil shows he is willing to put his life on the line.
Who amoung you would put your life on the line for your country, a very poor country, knowing bankers and big oil would be using and paying your own poorest people to kill you?

This man is very dangerous. He truly is a mad angry man. The world should watch him closely because I believe if he had the means of hurting the USA he would do it.I think he needs some prozac or xanax,or thorozine.

Agreed, he is losing it. Too much pressure.
Or he is crazy like a fox. He wants to control the money supply and exert a poor man's version of Total Information Awareness. Money may be leaking out of the country (or into the country).
As we know, nothing is as it seems.
These days it's controlling information and money that gives one power, not nuclear bombs. If you listen to the talk, setting up a parallel banking system that the US can't penetrate is a priority for "them". No small undertaking.
I foresee in the future that a great cyber-war will be fought over knowledge; who can know and control what. The electronic banking systems will be knocked off line. ATMs will crash, no money will flow, very much worse than the sort of self inflicted "credit crunch". A goof that continues to grow like the uncontrollable Blob.
Our infrastructure is developing around a system of complex and leveraged transactions that requires billions to travel the globe in milliseconds.
With the destruction of the electronic banking system, people will live in mud and stick huts, wear big furry hats and push potatoes around in wooden carts with wooden wheels. Without money, there will be no energy.
Someone probably already wrote the book.

What is with this pipsqueek? Does he have an inferiority complex? Does he want to get his ass kicked? In one day his threat to the Spanish banks and the threat to shut off the oil to the U.S.A. Also Columbia has a bone to pick with him! I agree with whoever suggested Prozac ,Xanax and a 44 cal. Perhaps someone will do the job for us, He is trampling on the human rights and the democracy of Venezuela !

According to my "crystal ball", Chavez will be assassinated on (write this date down) February 12, 2009 and the one to do it will be a well known Venezuelan.

The game ball will be a serve from OPEC. Oil prices are keeping the pressure on them and Puten. Chavez will stay on the downlow until America stops talking about Energy Independence.
