I found a cool polls site which lets you vote on which movie rental company is better (the choices they give are blockbuster and netflix), and apparently, if you register and vote, you could win a free movie and popcorn voucher! Worth a shot I figure... I'm a netflix fan myself. WHile I agree with the majority, I cannot agree that you always get the new releases with no delay from Netflix, I have had two of the latest go on long wait for weeks until I went to blockbuster and they were waiting on the shelf
Also if Netflix is soooo now, why are we now forced to call customer service on a phone and wait in a que, and email is not allowed? I am sure Mr Bell invented the phone some time ago. But overall, I do not intend to change from Netflix as I am a New Zealander in the USA and they have the best selection of international stuff, even small productions from my home. |

look, blockbuster people, exchanging movies in the store is a gimmick.. its a classic "come on boy, come get the stick" ploy. if it's so convenient to "just go to the store" then cancel your online crap and go to the store.
i have nothing against blockbuster, but their in-store selection is crap and its laughable. "free game rental" and there's nothing there to rent.. netflix is a lot heavier in the animes too, which just comes down to more selection.. and my movies come to me pretty quick.. i get 3 at a time and watch 1 movie a night.. usually i spend 1 day of the week movie-less.. sunday or monday |
