Thes bath and linen stores are monuments to consumerism and only add to our hoarder mentalities. City leaders - bring a book store to Vallejo. Book stores uplift communities! That's what I'm talking about Shay58. I would love to see Barnes & Noble Bookstore and Trader Joe too.

It would be nice to see upscale retailers come to Vallejo. I would rather shop in Vallejo rather than drive to Concord at Trader Joe's, Barnes and Noble, BBB. It's obvious that large retailers aren't interested in opening stores here when they know we will drive to Fairfield or Concord to shop at the malls. Could it be the demographics and socioeconomic status of the community and surrounding area coupled with the crime rate that steer businesses away?

They do not want to open up bookstores in Vallejo because no one knows how to read.
