The best think Jonathan can do is get an education. Why would you work for a company that doesn't pay you enough to afford a used car! This don't make any sense! I agree with a posting from above, You all need to stick together and all walk out at all the plants to make Dicky fell the wrath of the working man! Until then he will continue to spit in all your faces!
--You shouldn't talk about people needing an education, when you yourself cannot speak proper english and your first language is english. Another point, Jonathan has a job, and by the looks of your comments you just seem bitter because you most likely don't have a job anymore because of your union.

Dick Dauch never intended to keep the current workforce working at the Detroit and New York plants. His plan is to screw with all of them until Feb. 2012. He has his henchmen tell the world that he can't afford the U.S. labor even though his "Seed Corn" made him a multi millionare! He will re-open the plants shortly after the contract and slowly return his old run down machines back to the old run down plants. He will have a revolving door and re-hire dirt bags that will work for nothing! Mexico will have to contend with a new breed of U.S. workforce labor, Jail birds, drugees and drunks that will get their 40 hr. 10 dollar paycheck, quit and Dickee will have another drunk waiting at the turnstile to start the day! Good luck to all the taco's that think their job is secure and fell the wrath of Dickee the Dick Dooch bag! Rot in hell Dooch bag!

Dick Douch was disliked at Chrysler when he worked there and I see his management style has not changed at American Axle. At Chrysler if there was a camera anywhere near him he managed to get in the picture. He was loud and arrogant and not liked by his executive management. This type of personality rarely has any REAL friends. The less we read about him the better off we all are.

Sasha ...you are truly a foolish person...you call Union people lazy...go south you will see lazy..since I had to move away from MI to find work after AAM ...I have seen some of the laziest and most uneducated people ever . AAM work force was one of the best crews I have ever seen ..you are like a lot of other fools, you like to paint with a large brush and broad strokes, you pick the few and point at them..At the gear I worked with some of the most talented people in the Biz ..Keep one thing in mind ..you can and will be next in the hunger for ever increasing profit margins

I have to agree that Shasha is a fool. I love how people point out a few people that probably don't care if their spelling is correct. This is just a dumb web page, not a mid term presentation at college. Yes Mr. Dauch is a greedy man! Who cares! What comes around goes around! We all will meet our maker one day and he will have to deal with the good lord when that time comes. He once was admired by thousands of people who worked so hard for him. He built a cash cow off the backs of his hard working american workforce. This is a man who cares for no-one except his immediate family period! I hope one day Mr. Dauch will see the light and treat people with respect. He is an old man and is running out of time to make things right. I will pray for Mr. Dauch and all the American people who worked for him. Good luck to all!

Dick Dauch is a very greedy son of a bitch, he got rid of his oldest son because he got divorced.
He paid his wife 3 million dollars to organize the landscaping for the whole detroit campus.
He does not care about his employees,he says he does but they are just like a bunch of rented mules to him.
He may be very wealthy but he has no BALLS.

To The Big Mex- You DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! He did not go all in with AAM, his first partner Ray Parks was the money man, who openely said he didnt like companies with Unions, so he got out first contract and 'Dick" partnered with the Blackstone Group, who again was the money for him! He never went all in until it went public and then he went all in with his paws to get as much as he could!

The CEO, is an exceptional business man, a bit arrogant, however, if you look at the complete history of this company and others he has been involved with and what he has done, its difficult to condemn comments like "I was born and breed to a leader", and as he does take large profit shares, well in excess of 3-5 times his CEO salary, he took a large risk when he went all into AAM when it was first purchased from GM.
As for the company, I believe, unfortunately, wanting to maintain a corporate image of "We are here for the people and American Business" is just that, image. All the associates that work for the company, hourly and salary included know, its a function of economics. If its cheaper over there, they will go. The company does not care about the associates, the associates do not care about the company, except for what they get from each other and where they can take advantage of each other they will. Not that I see any other public companies that are any different. I my view the private companies work much better with the associate and vise versa. So AAM gets an average from me on how it takes care of associates. The Union is in trouble until they change their methods of election. Its worse than a high school Prom queen election. The will come around sooner or later. Probably, when the rest of the world, has already caught, with out wage structure, or when ours has degraded to theirs.

Now that the five main cash cow American plants that made Dick who he is today are now closed, Dick's real plan is about to come together. Now is the time for the Mexican and Third Tier American workforces to rally against his greed and demand a better life before he re-opens the main American plants with lower paid non union workers. He will start to take work out of all the plants and soon Mexican workers will be out of work. I have talked to a main executive and Dick's main plan is to bring work back because transporting goods from Mexico don't make sence now that the plants are empty with a clean slate. Then Dick will look like a hero again because he will be seen as a man bringing jobs to America and everyone will forget all the pain that was inflicted on the hard working employees who made him who he is today. I would love to have Dick's cash, but I would hate to have his life, going down in the history books as an evil man that everone hates! Good luck to all the hard working people that still have a job with him. We all know you will need it!

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Pisces

Having to bow down to convention or limitations is enough to make you want to scream right now, and you'll do your utmost to rebel in any way you can. Be careful about this because you could easily get on the wrong side of someone who has power or authority over you. It feels as though you're battling with forces that want to keep you under control, and you don't like it one bit.
