Just a worker said,As for Management wages. Union people whine constantly about Management wages. But there are less of them than there is of unskilled labor workers.
So add it up.
Besides it really is NONE of any "employee's" business what management or CEO's get in wages.

Sounds like real teamwork.

Union was trying to NOT take cuts. So you lose 3 months wages to go on strike to finally settle 3 months later for what? Huge cuts "right"? So where did the strike get anybody? Absolutely no where. Did the strike solve any issues? NOPE it didn't, did it?

Sure, when GM threw $200Million AAMs way it was pretty much a foregone conclusion. Anybody got an extra $200Million just laying around? Not the union or it's members. And I for one will ALWAYS remember that EVERY TIME GM cries crocodile tears about how much money their losing.$200Million may not be much on their scale. It's a bunch on most everybody else's....and they know it, and they use it to quash whomever they please.

Yabiddyyablah diddilyblahblah. Sure, your right about that. It's none of the employees business what management makes. Then don't come complaining that the company just isn't making any money yibbbiddyyablah and expect to get any cooperation, understanding and/or empathy from the employees. You're gunna treat people like their slaves and their just not going to care about whether of not the company is making it or not.

And hey, if you want to go through your life with a slave mentality, that's fine too.

That's something else you missed. The union was only trying to not lose anything. They were not asking for anything (monetarily) extra. It was the company that wanted the workers to take cuts.
I wonder how much in cuts top management took. Probably nothing. Better to take it away from those who have less to be able to keep more. And hey, maybe even a bonus for getting the shop to give back.
Upper management a pay cut ???No way. Bonus..count on it.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Pisces

Having to bow down to convention or limitations is enough to make you want to scream right now, and you'll do your utmost to rebel in any way you can. Be careful about this because you could easily get on the wrong side of someone who has power or authority over you. It feels as though you're battling with forces that want to keep you under control, and you don't like it one bit.
