So many melt-downs lately in the aviation industry (Jetblue flight attendant sliding down the emergency slide with liquor, American Airlines Flight Attendant, and now Jetblue pilot). I wonder if it is due to all the paycuts, layoffs, stress from the economy, etc??

Eileen, the passengers stated to the news that the pilot acted normal before takeoff - greeting passengers and such. Very strange though!

Then you would have no crew. You have to be a little "unstable" to be in the industry.

This wouldn't happen on a unionize airline, with real pilots instead of trailer trash non-union scab pilots, who have dragged the airline industry into the toilet.

What do you call those CAL scabs you have to share the cockpit with? And don't United and Jet Blue have the same union? For a United pilot, you don't know much about United. Need a loan? Your old lady and I can work out the payments. Might be good rates, depending on how hard she wants to work. ;) We been thinking of hiring a nice white lady to help out around the house anyhow. I got lots of children. You know us black folks. The co-pilot showed more professionalism, and by asking the passengers to help out, he was more than happy to delegate some responsibilities onto people who would be more than happy to help. And from what I hear, they were heading to Las Vagas for a law enforcement convention.
