The context is everything. But the reader cannot know it unless Ms. Simpson sees fit to divulge.

Not so sure I care about context. I got my "wow" out of the story. I'm okay with that. I derived a satisfactory emotional response. I'm done.

I agree, poetry with few words always leaves an everlasting impression. too many words cloud the intention. I know exactly what Steve waw referring too. Snow capped mountains and the beauty of this earth like its never been seen before, our temporary goodbye to the incredible visions of our wonderful and awe inspiring earth, its the last flight out. so to speak. a flight to heaven with no plane, no body just your soul looking upon exceptional beauty, As rich as he was, he must have done the right thing. Im not sure that trip is meant for everyone, I just hope I get the chance when my days are ready...love life, live good, and treat people with all the love you have

He said "oh wow" three times, according to Simpson, IF you believe her.

Heaven isn't smiling on a man that humiliated and degraded all kinds of people he worked with with his tirades, that had people working in slave factories like Foxconn in China, that was building a hundred million plus yacht for himself while giving nothing to charity.

Tell me how BILLIONARE Steve (and nothing to charity) got beyond this:

I'm sure he was full of some superlative drugs at the end, i.e., pharmacological versions of a Kodachrome-like heaven.

Who, exactly, gave you the right to judge another human being? Typical christo-hypocrite. Your boss told you not to judge others. Try showing Christian charity to the dead guy instead of yammering on about things you've only read or heard on the news.

Candy is dandy.... but her religion has rotted her brain.
He's dead. He's gone to where all the dead folks go. Rich, poor, good or evil. Dust.

Apple has over $80 billion in the bank. That money should be used inventing and manufacturing Apple products in the USA. It should be reinvested in the company, here in the USA. It's sociopathic, narcissistic, greed to horde that kind of dough.
Apple should free the Chinese slaves and employ eager American wage slaves. It's the right thing to do.
I don't expect much in the way of charity from Jobs, as an individual. But I'd support a law that required Apple to repatriate and pay taxes on the $80 billion and compelled them to reinvest the balance here.
Not just Apple....
