To be gay in Jamaica "to be dead"

I suppose if you are a gay person in Jamaica, that has spurned your gay lover, and sought out to find happiness with another person (whether they be straight or gay), then technically, you could be 'a walking dead man', just waiting to pop up on the radar!

Read the words of an accomplished homicide detective, a former Scotland Yard police officer, OF WHOM IS NOT JAMAICAN, who has served as a JCF officer for decades in Jamaica (I do believe). This should straighten out the situation and the confusion around the environment in which LGBT citizens in Jamaica have to deal with!
