Epix movies are always great, and new ones are frequently added so they’re one of my favorites. Ever since I found out that I could access Epix movies at will through my Hopper, I’ve never looked anywhere else for their titles. The nice thing is that I have access to a lot more than just that, which is more than what Netflix is able to do. I was talking to one of my supervisors at Dish about Amazon’s new deal this morning, and we both agree that it was just the right move to put them ahead of Netflix.

It will not hurt netflix. I have both netflix and amazon. IMO, amazon is worthless, not because of the content but because of the way it is setup. If you do a specific movie search within amazon prime, you will end up with mostly non amazon prime results. Amazon is only in the movie business to sell movies not to view. You cannot just browse their amazon prime shows.
Until amazon separates their amazon prime from rest of their site, they will never move a head of netflix. IF I renew my amazon prime, it will only be for their shipping discounts.

Netflix will be just fine. They still have the Epix content- it's just that now, other companies can also get it. And amazon still only has 25,000 titles, compared with 60,000 titles for Netflix.
