Not only NE OH but the entire state should wake up the fact that taxes are killing business.

Thank our Democrat Cuyahoga County Commissioners, Democrat State Leadership and the TAX RATES to prove it!!!!

Good Job, Voting Public...keep on voting Democrat. Keep raising the taxes for bleeding-heart liberal causes, keep on bashing corporations that are profitable and employ people...people who keep on voting Democrat...keep on losing your future !!

I knew about this last summer when American Greetings sold the stores to another company....A former manager of an American Greetings store told me after the sale, that American Greetings was moving out of state.

Oh great. I just applied for a job at American Greetings, one of the very few jobs opportunities I've been able to find lately in the Cleveland area that match my education and work experience, and now this? Brooklyn, wake the hell up! You're going to try and suck all you can from AG and the Plain Dealer, but end up with nothing.

More corporate extortion! Companies have no desire to be good citizens anymore. It's just about more profits and not having to pay their fair share. This has got to stop.

Richfield is at the intersection of I-77 and I-275, as well as 5 miles to the Ohio Turnpike. Ample land zoned for business. No City income tax. Sewers in, water available. Equi-distant from East and West sides of Cleveland, as well as midway between Akron and Cleveland. Sounds like a no-brainer !!!!!!

Want to kill private sector jobs and your tax base? Then vote for Democrats. Modern day DEMOCRATS are clearly hostile to business.

Keep 'soaking the rich' and supporting Obamunism. The whole country will be as prosperous as the city of Detroit.

To some of the stores and shopping related comments: this story talks about moving corporate headquarters, not some mall shopping store.

Democrats = big government, tax and spend liberals, run your life for you party. Slaughter them in elections.

It's not the dems. It's not the repubs. Both have their own interests. It's politicians in general. So shut up already.

The reason the store were mentioned is because American Greeting did nnot own the stores and I mentioned that this was not new news... I was told in May of 2009 that they were leaving Brooklyn

Wow, some people need to get some facts straight. AG is owned by the same people they have been owned by for a very long time. No other company owns AG Corp wise, just the stores because it was a good buisness move to not have the extra baggage. They will not move anywhere too far; they would lose way too many valued employees to start from scratch, which would be asking for trouble and failure.

I use to work at AG years ago. It was a good company to work for. I feel bad if they move out of state alot of freinds still work there.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
