What a stupid argument - surely anyone and everyone who buys shares in a public company is attempting to predict the future. The great majority of those who attempt to predict the immediate future (daytraders) lose money. Those who apply TA to inappropriate emergent companies also lose money.
Those who take a long term, but vigilant and cautious investment approach to companies which they believe have promise, have as much chance as anyone of making money
Better Right Than Rich?
Sometimes I long for the academic world, if only for the access to all those bright, energetic young slaves ... er, research assistants.
