If Virgin America is NOT incompliance with the US Law regarding ownership, the Fed's need to pull the plug on their operation. Way too many jobs at American owned carriers are at stake. The airline industry (often criticized by many) has a major role in business and commerce and ALL the players need to be on the same playing field.

Virgin has a good product, but the fact is that they are pricing it below their cost to produce it, and they are being funded by foreign investors to do so.
The DOT should shut them down until they comply with the law. Throw their CEO in jail too - maybe then companies will follow the rules of the game. |
