OK. To be reheard is the case that asks whether an insurer offering a commercial general liability (CGL) policy is liable for claims when the insured is accused of contributing to the climate change and causing environmental damage.

While applauding the 'grass roots' activism, it is about as feasible as trying to sue litterbugs for the cost of park cleanups.

The right way is to work on a program to decrease littering.

Feasibility is not the issue.

In USA, we do have "fines" etc for punishment for a crime or other offence. Plenty of polluters have paid and paid.

But 'legal harrassment' works both ways.. it may be available to all but it is not the best way to go since it is just one facet of 'dog eat dog'.
