Actually they are spending it---see the other article about oil price increases, food price increases, etc. There's just none left to spend on HD TVs, Ipods, new SUVs, etc.

I swear the timing coulldn't of been any perfect when I got my rebate check. The dishwasher went tango uniform and required replacig. Between the cost of the dishwasher ( Maytag ) and the labor cost my rebate check was all but spent. With only a few bucks left to fill the gas tank.

That's all folks!!! lol

Yes, Mr. Meister...I got a letter telling me this week it was on the way....WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST SEND THE DAMN CHECK THEN, INSTEAD OF TELLING ME IT WAS ON THE WAY.........they don't have to pay postage do they...

Ours will go toward our property taxes that come due in July. Tax rebate goes to school levy - POOF - it's gone! It's like being at a magic show at a carnival, but not having any fun. Meanwhile, the tax clowns are laughing at me. It's a nightmare.
