Hey Ya'll
I was surfing the internet looking for my superiors name from Albertsons and happened across this forum.
I'm from an Albertsons in Texas that just closed recently. They didn't handle it well, imo. We got bought out by H.E.B down here. Dor those that didn't know. BUT. We did get all our paychecks that were due, so kudos to Texas Albertsons : D You will be missed. Loved working for the company. I never goofed off so much in my life. LOL!
But seriously, Albertsons had EXTREMELY AWESOME employees, it just was doomed to fail. Bad owners and bad judgement calls, really.
To all ya'll that had problems with them Good luck with your stuff!

Wow, Albertson's had always been my favorite grocery store. Maybe it's the demographics or something, but the employees have always been helpful and kind... with the exception of one cashier that I don't care for. I just steer clear of her. I surely hope that the Albertson's in So.Cal. don't turn into Lucky's. Long Live Southern Cali Albertson's!!!!!!

Albertsons was always my favorite store. My mom worked at Albertsons in Salinas for many years in the Seventies and Eighties. The Lucky we are stuck with now is no where near customer orientated then Albertsons was. Always a hello in the morning. Save Marts are cool, but Albertsons will always have my vote.

Well I would like to say the trasition from Albertson's to SaveMart was a good thing but it turns out to be the WORST PLACE I've ever worked in my life, the backbitting GOSSIP...OMG THE GOSSIP is so sick and lack of Managment and support is like working with the MOB... And we as OLD ALBERTSON'S employees are on the HIT list, it hurts to see all the years and HARD work I've put into the store be put down and TORN down, I'm all for change, but SaveMart people have shown NOTHING but how much THEY HATE "OLD ALBERTSON'S PEOPLE" the reason I know this is not only was I told this by MANY but the UNION them selves has said there out to get rid of OLD ALBERTSON'S EMPLOYEES knowing and been shown how SHADDY SAVEMART is after YEARS OF HARD HARD work, I am proof the integrity hard work and YEARS OF EXCELLANT service will get you NOTHING...except ABUSED!!!!!!!!!!
