i'm a 24 year employee looking for a way out. sad that i feel sick every day walking into the door at albertsons. i met joe in 82 and he would surely be rolling in his grave right now. my 30 year pin seems a lifetime away. group huddles, extreme valu buys, not enough labor, and a manager that doesn't know how to check. we got one measly quarter an hour raise in 7 freakin years. i bust my ass every day and larry johnson should make love to his money every night the prick.

He was seen in France on the beach wyth Cathy Herbert and his son (what a dork) Larry had a speedo on. Albertsons was the last thing from his mind. If any one should see him in the states please pass it on...

So down here in AZ, Albertsons has gotten rid of their Preferred Savings Card, while everyone else still has theirs. On a recent trip, I could not find ANYTHING that was priced lower, or even the same, as the competition. Albertsons charges $2.49 for a head of lettuce that Frys sells for $0.89 (regular price). Do they think people have no brains and don't shop around for the best prices? You can't sell the same exact products for 3 times as much and stay competitive, at least not for long. I don't understand the logic...

cause like you said our everyday prices stink. compared to the valleys other grocery stores

This is according to a poster in July. There's a bigger reason he spends half the year in France, folks. It's not just those beautiful beaches in St. Tropez. There are A LOT people looking for him, lol. He's obviously enjoying spending all that dirty money. I have faith in that what goes around will eventually come around.

Larry Johnston knew nothing about the supermarket business.... Ed Foreman was his side kick. They wanted everyone brainwashed. I'm Terrific, weekly broadcast blowing smoke up everyones _ss.If you didn't drink the koolaid they looked for and made every effort to push you out. Sad what they did to once a great company ACME.

The really disturbing issue is that all this info is out there for anyone to review(although it took me approximately a year to figure it out). And that NOTHING was done about it. The only ones who didn't benefit from this dirty deal were the regular investors and employees. It's all about bribes, payoffs and kickbacks people, and if you think otherwise, just take a look at the market today. The DOJ and SEC's excuse is that they don't have enough people and resources to investigate all the corruption. It's all a ruse, folks. A load of BS. This is happening more than anyone realizes.

If thay have a strike i will shop at Wal-Mart where some employee will be working.. it bad enuff the thay never have two days off back to back. But Management is out of hand. I always see tham goning nuts at staff.
