I am not in the grocery business.Or any retail but after reading the 1st 20 post here, I swear I was in a communist country for Gods sake. You don't like the wages or bene's a company is offering? Go work somewhere else. Get a better education or something. You whiners are typical libs that think you have a right to anything more than your freedom.
The constitution says nothing about us deserving "rights" to health care or a job. You all make me sick.
Better yourself and pick yourself up by the bootstraps.

Martina, are you getting deported?
LMAO. She should have paid attention in school too. She might have gotten better than a 5th grade education.

I have had a love hate relationship with the Albertson's near my home. Their prices were always a little high for everyday items, but they had the best meats and the best prices on meats. However, their customer service was the worst. The cashiers would not greet you or acknowledge you were even there, and they would chat up the bag boy or the cashier next to them the entire time they are ringing up your order. The managers were not any better, for example they would discuss the cashiers schedule while the cashier was ringing up customers. The shelves were not stocked properly, you would have to go several items down the isle to find the item that was marked on the price sticker on the shelf. I had to stop purchasing items from the frozen food section because they were usually always freezer burned. I mentioned that to a cashier and he thought it was funny. Guess he never heard of freezer burn. But this was probably the result of the frozen items not being put away in a timely manner after delivery.
I am going to miss their meats, but overall, I am not going to miss the Albertson's in this area.
In my opinion poor management top to bottom is what has toppled this company.

I was gonna say, here in Florida, albertsons is all but gone. Only a few stores and no advertising...pretty soon it will only be Publix and chinese walmart...
Don't forget Winn-Dixie. They are few and far between, but they are still out there. So now we have to go to Wal-Mart to stock up on bulk items because they are cheaper, Publix for their milk, ice cream ,produce and bakery items, because they are better, and Winn-Dixie for meat. I refuse to buy meat at Wal-Mart. Publix has good meat too but their prices are a little higher. Oh, I will miss Albertson's meats...chicken breasts were often on sale for $1.79 lb. and they were huge! One breast would feed two people.
