Albertsons Florida Division President John Sheehan has stepped down to lead a new business venture. It will soon be announced that the Florida division of Albertsons will be sold to a major supermarket chain mot yet in florida. The major player will be Kroger. They will buy 89 of the stores, Publix is in terms to buy the remaining 7 stores one of which was already bought in Tampa.

interesting....Albertsons LLC is going to sell of all of it's divisions soon they bought this company to chop it up and sell it off.

any info on Kroger buying out some stores in Colorado ? I've heard announcments will be made in next two weeks. Any truth to it ?

Poor John didn't resign, the term used by our store director was "FIRED"! Cerberus is not happy with recent inventories and store performances.
The new president and his crew will be in district 5 on Monday. Rumor has it that anyone not doing his/her job (including and especially management) is not going to be around very long. There are some big changes on the way and things are going to be tight.

What about About Distributions Centers?

John Raudabaugh should be happy he retired a few years ago. He definitely would have been fired.

any recent news about the Florida division?

No one has mentioned Wayne Denningham going to Florida Division ." He is to be helping out Florida division" Yea right! Rumor has it he is helping them close and then he will return to Rocky Mt. Division to help with all the stores closing by June 2007 ! We will have to wait and see. Anyone with inside news please post !

The latest is that Wayne and his crew will be in Florida district 5 (Tampa-Sarasota) on May 1st. They are having us clean the stores extra special.

I hope that all goes well with him going down there. He left Rocky Mt. well over a month ago. Why the delay until May 1 st ? Keep us posted.

Has anyone heard what's happening in Dallas? I keep hearing rumors that we're all shutting down by year end....

What a twist. I heard that Randall's has purchased all the Kroger stores. Sheez! Who owns what? It what I read is true. I think that Randall's and Kroger are partners. Krogers has already increades all their prices like a Randall's store.

New program 3 's a crowd ! what a joke . Let's see who comes running to help ! I hope we don't have any employee accidents while they rush to departments to help when there are three or more customers ! HA HA HA
