They are saying the Ducks will win by more than a field goal. What a pushover!

In this Game, There is no Santa Claws and no one is giving this game away for free. I don’t see anyone giving away any tickets to this Game. This game is worth watching. I’m sure this game will be a bloodbath. On both sides. In This Game, This Game Is for Tress, This Game is for the Senores, This Game is for the respect The Bucks deserve. I went to the 44-14 Florida game in Glendale Az. And the close call bowl last year with Texas. It was a long drive home. We have beat Michigan every year for as long as my Son has been alive. And I’m proud of that. Coach Tress is a great Leader. I just pray that at the end the scarlet and Gray come away with a win in This Game in my back yard .Go Buck beat the Ducks

Too bad the team hasn't been playing and practicing the last few weeks like a couple of other teams around the country, ie ducks.... Bye week in the middle of the season would be great...take off Thanksgiving if you need to but what's the point of defending the BCS system every year and making it to the big game if your school and the conference you represent aren't competitive? I think Wisc. and Ill. are starting to get it...'time and change will surely show'-that it's time for the change part! These retarted fossils still think there are only 5 buildings on High Street. You think they wanna change? The big news stories are still about woody hayes because what is there to write about these buckeyes or this coach? Probably only negative stuff (or what this paper calls negative because nobody can be critical of coach Tressel - he's a legendary football mastermind). God help you. The ducks are comming (normally that sentence would be funny). "Everybody says coach Tressel can't win the big game" - Is that a rumor or a fact? To bad you can't get matched up with Notre Dame every year.

NASHVILLEBUCKEYE - Buckeyes lose another one on their list: Luc commits to FSU. And some of you people still think kids want to come to OSU after all that has happened. When was the last verbal commit to OSU? In the last 2 weeks the buckeyes have lost out on Luc, Shaw and Christian.

The Tresselball Buckeyes have no respect because they haven't earned it. They backed their way into the Rose Bowl. Lost big to Florida, LSU, and Texas. Got blown out by USC twice and Prudue. Not a resume for recruiting. Now they're going to get embarrassed by a team whos mascot is Donald Duck. Can you say QUACK?

John in Worthington wrote: It gets tiring to constantly hear about a team's "speed" yatta-yatta. Yes, Oregon has speed, but so does Ohio State. In fact, you can't be a D-1 college playing in a BCS bowl game without speed. I recall all of us fretting and worrying last year about the outlandish speed of Texas, and how they were just gonna run all over us all night? Well, OSU lost, but it wasn't because of the speed of Texas. Nothing makes a team look slower than a well-executed game plan. The speed is merely the frosting on the cake - but the cake itself is the execution. They lost because the Defense was worn out because the offense can not sustain drives throughout the game, when we get a chance to put the peddle down, we call three dives, punt and put our D back out---they were all bent over and sucking wind---Oregon plays the same way and unfortunately I doubt we will adjust. As for the Article heading--Stupid--it should be their (OR) headline-- we have not EARNED that---past record and head to head vs. USC!

Small says they haven't come up to a defense like OSU well How about USC didn't we lose to them and the ducks beat USC. The Ducks Are Picked to win over the Bucks. So Small needs to come down to earth or they'll end up like the last few bowl games!

Brad wrote: "they've had 2 practices"...are you kidding me. They have been off for 2 weeks and they have only had 2 practices. I hope Ken got bad info. If they haven't been going full tilt since the Sun after Mich, that is even more reason to re-evaluate the coaching staff. I have no doubt that the Bucks are going to win, but they need to get back on the field and get their mind off Disneyland. They are only allowed 21 practices and they have 40 some days between Michigan and the Rose Bowl, Man you have to chill. This is not Tress's first rodeo.

Someone tell Ray Small to keep his mouth shut and worry about catching punts. Let the defense worry about themselves. The last thing the Buckeyes need to do is to give the Ducks bullitin board material. GO BUCKS, KICK THE CRAP OUT OF THE DUCKS.

They didn't back into this one, they grabbed it by the throat and dragged it home. 2. They got blown out by USC ONE TIME. This year's game was almost a win, but for a late score. 3. The LSU and Texas games were not blow-outs and neither was Purdue (but the LSU & PU losses were embarrassing none-the-less). ON PAPER there are arguments on both sides of the ball, but the game is still played ON THE FIELD for a reason. As for me, I'm a Buckeye through & through and I'm pulling for my team and waiting for them to play the game and we'll see who brings home the hardware then. Buckeye Nation needs to stop spouting negative crap and get behind the team. We ALL know the negatives, we just don't need to be constantly reminded about them. As for Ray's comment, well it isn't any different from pretty much any other team that is getting ready for a big game. He didn't promise a win, he's just being positive like UO's coach (?) when he made a very similar comment a couple days ago. GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!! Semper Fi

This is a test----and a big one for Coach and players. It is a chance once again to prove that they both are up to the task in talent, mental attitude, toughness, and most importatnly style of play. The run, gun, and shoot offense has been deadly for Tressels syle of play for the past three years-----sure hope they can match up well this year and win. GO BUCKS!!

HEY PEOPLE.... the dispatch put the headline "Oregon won't be Pushover" NOT the Buckeyes. Calm down!!! And you should not entertain the transitive property especially in college football. We played USC in week 2...WEEK 2. We have gotten better, escpecially after Purdue. I feel sorry for most Buckeye fans out there... when we beat Oregon, what are you gonna have to complain about???? oh wait, what was i thinking, im sure you'll find something.

I wanted to add that national respect is earned and we all hope this Rose Bowl is the beginning of the turn around we all want to see. Make no mistake, one game will not do it. The Buckeyes need a string of marquee wins over the next four or five years to earn that respect.

The only game we should have won that we didn't was the Florida national championship game and Ted Ginn Jr. was injured in that one after the first play -- the Buckeyes are a great team with a great tradition and this current losing streak will cycle out in the Rose Bowl. My wife and daughter and I went to the ASU win over the Snake and it was a great feeling to be part of a Rose Bowl victory ten years ago -- let's do it again!

CTBuckeye ...you are a FOOL. Four or Five years to earn that respect??? GIMME A BREAK. uh, you can't earn the most BCS bowl bids in the history of college football without having respect? In 9 years Tressel has given us 6 Big Ten Championship, 7 BCS Bowl Bids, One National Championship, and 3 Title Game Appearances. UGh, i am SO SICK of the spoiled-rotten buckeye fans. When we beat Oregon, get ranked in the top 3 to start next season, and beat Miami (Fl) in the non-conference THERE WILL NOT BE ROOM ON THE BANDWAGON FOR YOU WHINEY-SPOILED FANS

DOORMATED!!! Now, I GATOR GARY knows what it feels like to have my team get DOORMATED and embarrassed in front of a National audience. It is a terrible feeling and I have no idea how you Buckeye Fans can put up with that feeling on a regular basis. The Buckeyes will get DOORMATED by Oregon. That is a forgone conclusion. Even your fans commenting on this above article are proof of that. My question to Buckeye Fan is this? Does Buckeye Fan root for Cincinnatti or FLORIDA in the Sugar Bowl? If Cincinnati wins they will become the best football program in Ohio and have an advantage in recruiting. If Florida wins it will look bad for the State of Ohio. I mean do you want both of Ohio's elite programs being the GATORS DOORMAT? So at 8:30 Jan. 1st, after you have just watched your Buckeyes get DOORMATED by Oregon, do you really want to see the Bearcats get DOORMATED by the GATORS? GO GATORS!!!

Cincy will take them down. Where is LSU? Where is USC? Texas blew us out? Talk about earning something? LSU, USC. USC blew us out this year? Wrong again Mister#2 (get it?) Blown out by Purdue? The best thing that could have to us was getting "blown out" by has you say, "Prudue", Purdue is the name of the school. In Indy huh, Ill fan are ya? One more thing, not that it means anything, but the Buckeyes are 7-0 life-time against the Ducks...its also very nice being the underdog....can't wait!!!!! GO BUCKS!!!!!
