Do you think (outside of the top 1%) things will be better if Romney gets in. I doubt ut. Personally I think the choice for president is pathetic.

Because he and mookie do not want capitalism to succeed. He wants America to come to their knees so we can be helpless and he can then rebuild it with socialist communism. He won't mind that we will all be poor as long as he is in some form of power, at the top, filling his pockets with OUR money.

Two things I would never do 1)make a career out of the military like my stepfather did although I served in Nam unlike Mittens2) go into politics therefore my tax returns are stricly between me and the IRS not a peep show for everyone else. Romney is his own worst enemy each time he makes a statement he puts his foot in his mouth and leaves himself wide open to scrutiny and gives ammunition to his opponent.

Wait what wrote: <quoted text> And another BTW: Rent does not qualify as a writeoff for a charitable deduction. Nice spin on that one. Whew! That was how he managed to "pay rent" as there is no provision in the law for a governor to do so. He paid into the foundation that maintains the Residence. Same deal with the health insurance. He paid into a federal "debt reduction" fund--a charity--an amount equal to the cost of the insurance he received.

Wait what wrote: <quoted text> You said he REFUSED health care, Reader, until it became available to all. BTW, I read an article last night that said that you have to pass scrutiny from the Social Security Administration, the Internal Revenue Service AND the Department of Homeland Security to quality for the health exchanges. Heath care for all with that kind of scrutiny - really? Probably to ensure that no non-citizens or illegal immigrants benefit from the Affordable Care Act.

Reader, you said he REFUSED government health insurance. That was a lie. Second, you said he paid RENT. Rent is not a charitable deduction. There is no other way to look at this, so please just stop.

What gets me is most on the left don't even seem to be worried about the many inconsistencies of Obama and his agendas, just his skin color seems to give him a pass. If he was white, I'm sure the red flags would cause alarm.

Yeah, the problem with the whole, run it like a business meme is that a business--at least in recent decades is not much concerned with whether or not Americans have jobs, receive a living wage for the work that they do, or even, increasingly, whether the business will even exist in ten years. A business, unless acted upon by outside forces (typically competition and regulation) has no reason to be concerned with how its workers fare. If the supply of workers is plentiful, a business can feel free to "use them up" through unsafe working conditions, fostering burn-out and the like. If a business can succeed in "cornering the marked" on needed goods (against the law--but laws can be weakened and changed if you get the right folks into government) they can set the price as high as people can pay without dying off. Might be dishonest. But honesty is just a vague liberal value. Some businesses may well be run by individuals of high moral fiber. But they can easily be run out of business by those who do not.

The right cannot whine endlessly about the possibility of some kid born in Mexico getting a free immunization and then complain about what it takes to make sure that doesn't happen. And, by the way, the three agencies, I am certain, are not getting into the business of your health care. Just the business of your citizenship.
