This just breaks my heart to think that this man was in deep need of mental treatment, and that no one could see this happening. It's bad enough that he took he and his wifes life, But to take the life of his own son , I just can't even fathom the thought...

1 Very well said, and I agree totally. |

Are we to believe that all of your deceased family members, neighbors and friends have died by being killed by someone in their household? Wow, that's very sad. Everyone in the world is going to get killed by a member of their household according to the bible? You actually believe that? Wow. I don't know anyone who was killed by a member of their household and I've lived pretty long, guess I'm an exception to the rule. |

2 The "loving and caring" description came from people interviewed for the story. It wasn't simply pulled out of thin air by The Dispatch, I'm sure. Apparently that's how at least some of those people who knew the man thought of him. I don't think that's an attempt to elicit sympathy. I think it's simply how people who knew this man described him and just goes to show not everyone who commits a heinous act looks like a monster. I'm sure if people would have described him as a horrible jerk that would have been stated in the story. Maybe it's more a commentary on how people don't like to speak ill of the dead, but probably the man simply came across as caring. |

1 Where did he say government health services? A lot of them are privately owned. And even if any help received had a government origin, who cares as long as it might possibly save three lives? This is where ideology gets in the way of common sense. |

1 I agree. People don't take the time to take pride in how they express themselves via text message, email or online and it really takes away from the notion of any standard of communication whatsoever. And I don't take people seriously who don't take the time to check what they write...get a dictionary and an education people :) |
