<quoted text>I respect your right to state what you believe. I'm just a little confused how we can have a balanced budget and still pay less taxes. President Clinton did leave office with a balanced budget, but that is so often forgotten.</quoted text> Bill Clinton was all set to do the very same thing Obama is doing and would have if he had a democratic congress and senate, but he didn't. He had a republican congress with Newt Gingrich as speaker of the house and they sat down and worked out what could and could not be done which is why he left the country in such good shape (and somehow, he did manage, at least part of the time, to get along with his congress. |
Bush in his 1991 speech asked students to write letters to him with their ideas on how to improve the country. Before your drawers explode from excessive gas, why not read the actual speech given by our duly elected President which was NOT socialist, facist, marxist or any other ist.... He asked students to stay in school, to educate themselves for their future and the future of the country. You have NO idea what you are blathering on about. http://www.whitehouse.gov/MediaResources/Prep... |

Judged: 2 1 1 "No! You should not stay in school! That is a very bad thing to do, this country need more homeless people right now!" How can you critise this? This message has been told an uncountable amount of times, and it was fine then, I didn't see any parents screaming for a teachers blood, but now a black man is saying it, its terrible! It is brainwashing, indoctrinating, evil, etc. And anyways, what is so terrible about Socialism? Canada is Socialist, and look where we are, free health care (yes I know, you still pay taxes for it, but say you suddenly went bankrupt and had no money, then got hit by a car, you'd be pretty stuck then huh?, then theres free child care, special benifets to older people.) I don't want to sound stuck up, I like US (and I think Obamas 100 times cooler then Stephen Harper), but this is scary. I didn't think people were so racist in some areas. Bush said the same thing, no one got angry then, and how can you critisce this? He's saying stay in school, Not "Join my personal bodyguard or you're not cool!". This is a sad day for America. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Obama is not working the change this country needs. Government is too huge and spending in All the wrong places. Bush started the unwanted bailouts wars etc and Obama continues even though he was elected to stop this insanity. If you feel that after loosing your job, house, standard of living you can support this government .... I think we can do better than to use this presedent to encourage our childrens future. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Where is the rest of that. It was less than 10 seconds and most OBVIOUSLY taken out of context...and was a woman saying that something of Fox insinuated that. Show me where anyone on Fox actually said it. Get a grip. |
