<quoted text>I respect your right to state what you believe. I'm just a little confused how we can have a balanced budget and still pay less taxes. President Clinton did leave office with a balanced budget, but that is so often forgotten.</quoted text>

Bill Clinton was all set to do the very same thing Obama is doing and would have if he had a democratic congress and senate, but he didn't. He had a republican congress with Newt Gingrich as speaker of the house and they sat down and worked out what could and could not be done which is why he left the country in such good shape (and somehow, he did manage, at least part of the time, to get along with his congress.

Although this statement is true: In 1991, President George H.W. Bush addressed the nation's students live on television from a school in Washington, D.C., telling them to "make it your mission to get a good education.".......... what you are not stating is just as important.
Obama put together teaching aids that started out asking students to write letters about what they could do to help Obama.
No other president who has spoken to school children has ever done more than speak about the importance of education period. A 5 to 10 minute chat about the importance of education is not objectional as long as parents give their consent for their children to see it, but giving the students the Obama life history and asking them to write letters about what they can do to help him is definitely crossing the line. And who is to say he wouldn't try making these little messages a weekly thing? Good grief, the rest of us are getting flooded with speeches from this man on television once, twice or three times a day. I have no idea when he really works? And perhaps the condition of our economy indicates the total lack of work being done?
He can leave the children alone with his socialist/marxist views and trying to sway very impressionable young people to his way of thinking which in most cases is not the way their parents think..
Bush in his 1991 speech asked students to write letters to him with their ideas on how to improve the country.

Before your drawers explode from excessive gas, why not read the actual speech given by our duly elected President which was NOT socialist, facist, marxist or any other ist....

He asked students to stay in school, to educate themselves for their future and the future of the country.

You have NO idea what you are blathering on about.

Why the !uck is everyone getting so ticked off about this?!?! Basically, schools are saying this:

"No! You should not stay in school! That is a very bad thing to do, this country need more homeless people right now!"

How can you critise this? This message has been told an uncountable amount of times, and it was fine then, I didn't see any parents screaming for a teachers blood, but now a black man is saying it, its terrible! It is brainwashing, indoctrinating, evil, etc. And anyways, what is so terrible about Socialism? Canada is Socialist, and look where we are, free health care (yes I know, you still pay taxes for it, but say you suddenly went bankrupt and had no money, then got hit by a car, you'd be pretty stuck then huh?, then theres free child care, special benifets to older people.) I don't want to sound stuck up, I like US (and I think Obamas 100 times cooler then Stephen Harper), but this is scary. I didn't think people were so racist in some areas. Bush said the same thing, no one got angry then, and how can you critisce this? He's saying stay in school, Not "Join my personal bodyguard or you're not cool!".

This is a sad day for America.

As you can see both dems and reps are sinking this ship.

Obama is not working the change this country needs. Government is too huge and spending in All the wrong places. Bush started the unwanted bailouts wars etc and Obama continues even though he was elected to stop this insanity. If you feel that after loosing your job, house, standard of living you can support this government .... I think we can do better than to use this presedent to encourage our childrens future.

Where is the rest of that. It was less than 10 seconds and most OBVIOUSLY taken out of context...and was a woman saying that something of Fox insinuated that. Show me where anyone on Fox actually said it. Get a grip.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Gemini

Do a little lateral thinking today and it will work wonders. Don't feel hidebound because you're supposed to do things in a certain way, because this is a great opportunity to try a different approach for a change. Even so, you may have to play down your unorthodox technique when talking to anyone who sticks rigidly to convention.
