You ain't seen nothing yet in terms of unemployment. Kasich is going to lay off 20,000 state workers and another 20-30,000 teachers, police and firefighters will lose their jobs as "aid to cities" is slashed to almost nothing. The economy is dead, and Americans are in an anti-stimulus mood - in fact Americans are going to vote in politicians who will work strenuously against increasing economic activity. I predict a national unemployment rate above 15% by 2014.

Screwy - First, Obama's plan of spending us into oblivion has failed miserably. Massive spending cuts at all government levels are necessary to get budgets balanced. The people cannot afford more tax increases, and actually need to see their tax obligations decrease to help spur the economy. We already have a 22% unemployment rate so your prediction is about as accurate as is your knowledge of economics.

If there's no hiring, then folks can't spend to

help the economy. And they wonder why crime is so

high....Shhh..careful when you hide those steaks

under your dress..don't forget the BBQ sauce, too.

If the clerk stops you, tell him you're pregnant

with his baby. Then run like you gotta use the

bathroom.

Stealing anything not nailed down..like the

politicians do.

No jobs, No revenues, No jobs, No stimulating the economy. How is it that corporations are still reporting profits when no one has the money to shop, or are the shoppers the owners of the corporations that are downsizing and outsourcing? Are they the only ones with income? After all payroll and benefits are corporations largest expense, and the less you hire the more money can go into the pockets of corporate leaders. "Less is more" Less workers, more income, overworked workers, more corporate income, angry workers bad service, term the worker and spread the work to the other workers, why because less is more. The new form of corporate slavery.

Businesses can delay hiring for longer than the democrats can stay in office. See democrats, when you purposefully enact punitive policies that cause uncertainty, don't expect private sector co-operation in the form of hiring that ultimately helps keep the boot on the necks of business. Contrary to what these dirty Marxists believe, the business of America IS business.

Here's how to solve the economic mess all under one roof.

You open a casino/White Castle/Strip Club/Car Dealer/Wal-Mart/Lion's Den/Mister Donut...one stop
shopping..the employess could be interchangable & work at any one of dos places.

Don't forget my cut/kickback.

I would say it's more that business owners are taking advantage of the fact that there is a "lucky to have a job" attitude going around right now and are finding out that they can cut jobs and have less staff do more work for the same, maybe even less money. The result is more money for them, less money for the middle class.

Everytime I hear Kasich talk about cutting taxes to make things easier for business owners to increase their payroll, I think "Yeah, that's a nice idea, if you had honest business owners that were more interested in creating jobs then lining their pockets". We've seen it over and over again...BP, Enron, banking... Once you get money, the only thing you begin to care about is KEEPING that money and making more of it. Americans aren't satisfied anymore with making $75,000. They want 100K. Those with 100K want $1 million and they'll do whatever they can to get it. Now, small business owners aren't rich by any stretch and we need to do what we can to help them. But blindly cutting taxes to help corporations "bring more jobs" to the market is foolish because, like I said earlier, all they'll do is cut workers, overwork and underpay the ones they have and pocket the profits. As long as "making as much money as you can" is the goal for CEO's, the middle class will suffer.

Why are you predicting such doom here in the future? You keep tell us that we need to vote Dems out in November. The way I see it, if your predictions are correct, with Kasich in office and the republicans in at all areas of government, we should probably be at 2.0% unemployment by Christmas. Are you telling me if we elect republicans its only going to get worse?

Nice try to lie and spin one and the same. You need to get on your SEIU bus and head to Cleveland to bow to your marxist man child job killer telling Ohio how great it is. And helping to kill more votes for tax em pay to play ted.

You certainly have the right handle:'screwy'. It is time we cut the waste in gubmint because all of the pay and benefits they are getting were unsustainable in the first place! Can you say, "Chickens coming home to roost" ?

The fact is that small businesses are the single largest area to grow the economy with.
Small businesses are scared since Obamacare was crammed down the throats of America without knowing or reading what is in it.
Furthermore, there is no help to small businesses. The unions got plenty of payback money from the Dems.
Once the liberals and socialists that are taking this country down are replaced, then we can repeal Obammycare and undo the damage they have done.

Is that what you think has happened ? A few people think Obo is muslim so business quits hiring ? Maybe a small business guy knows he can't spend money he does not have like the fed so he has to have a plan with a budget. When gov is telling him that he has to pay for healthcare and have taxes increased to cover the moocher class, maybe that business guy is concerned about future costs. But you can blame a few people that think Obo is muslim if it makes you feel better. You and Obo probably have as much experience running a company as my 10 year old.

Allot of small businesses are incorporated so when you bash corporations, you bash small biz. The enrons are not generating the jobs, small biz is. And you really do not think corporations pay taxes do you ? They add the cost of the tax to their product. Since America has one of the highest corp tax rates in the world, don't you think the corp tax can come down some to help make American biz more competetive on the world stage ?

Why is always the fault of the politician and never the fault of the employer? I look around Columbus and see that Cardinal Health is making profits, Nationwide Insurance is making profits Worthington Industries are making profits, Huntington Bank is making profits, Safelite Auto Glass is making profits, and Safeauto is making profits, How come in a city where all these companies that run this town and are all making profits we do not have these corporations hiring more employees? Maybe it is because these companies only care about how to make more money and not actually care for the well being of the employees. Politicians can only do so much to make sure our economy does not crumble into dust.

Daily Horoscope for February 13

Scorpio

Resistance from others arises with regard to your efforts. You may strike trouble with in-laws or close associates and there could even be a move against you. Take the time to consult with everyone about what they want and then try to work in with them. If you have any problems with legal people or folk from overseas, tread carefully. Don't let your lifestyle betray your beliefs.
