Gosh, it sounds like the only non-Communist President we've had is Reagan: The guy who favored unilateral disarmament with our sworn enemy (Communists) and also granted amnesty to illegal aliens.

Hell, let's just call 'em all Communists so it will be easier to remember.

The only two presidents worth a damn after after 1945 were Truman and Reagan.

I sh!tcanned my landline. Don't need two phones and don't need to be paying into someone else's pot more than I have to. Also, Google phone is free in the US, and Skype is cheap.

I'm not even going to try and guess what DB is, but why is your link the only place, or time, I have heard this program referred to as an "Obama Phone"? And why would it be referred to as an "Obama Phone" when the program has been in existence for 16 years?
I don't think your link is an actual government website, but rather a site designed to further attempt to portray Obama as trying to give away your hard earned tax dollars to freeloaders and frauds.
Just because you can't keep up with all of the grifts your fellow progressive come up with, don't expect me to do the work for you! Who do you think you are? A filthy, lazy obama wannabe? Typical progressive filth.

Ya know, you're dumber than obama. The filthy democrats renegged on their promise to close the border IF immigration reform were enacted. It was and they refused to support and fund a closing of the border. Now, we insist to close the border first so that you scumbag progressives don't pull your dirty tricks again. And you're a typical filthy progressive: why not insist your sworn enemy disarm? What would you do with a sworn enemy...suckhisdick?

Looks like your boy Obama actually followed in Reagan's footsteps with tomato products:
"It would also have required schools to put more than a quarter-cup of tomato paste on a slice of pizza for it to count as a vegetable serving..."

I hate talking on a cell phone. Besides, I need a landline at home for faxes and I just feel naked without one.

I got rid of my second line, however, by porting it over to Google Voice. Now it rings my landline and my cell phone at the same time. I also use Google Phone but have spotty success with it.

Online faxing now too. I don't do a lot of faxing though. Passe, completely.

Scan and email, using encrypted email.

I hate paper.

The day I tossed the landline, my wallet felt $50 a month heavier. I like it.

Google phone admittedly is spotty with how well it works. Skype on the other hand is great, even with cell phones to make overseas calls. I also have an unlimited cell plan for voice and data though. There's a reason I refer to it as the crackberry.

I used Skype when I was in Europe and it was great. Don't have much use for it here, though.

Any free faxing services you know of? I have used faxzero but they limit you to 3 pages and they make you send a cheesy cover page.

I scan a lot, but still fax, especially incoming faxes.

Because of the work I do from the house, I need the quality of a land line. I am on the phone a lot and talking through the computer just isn't there for me. I just have a basic AT&T phone - no frills $20 a month.

The nice thing about AT&T is that my office voice mail is set up so that you can see messages just like you do in email. AT&T messaging also accepts faxes, but I have to know who is calling in advance so I don't answer so it works a little clunky.

I know of a few people that gets these Government phones and also have another cell phone with it. Which they will pay for unlimited texting & internet on their usually a smart phone, and use the Government phone for all calls only. Some get phones for the kids and the kids don't even know it. And one other one i've seen is the same person have 2 phones in their changeable name (e.a. William=Bill).

None free. But doesn't Windows have a fax plug in you can use? Seems to me I had one about 4-5 years ago. Just stuck it in my scanner, scanned, and the faxed the digital copy.

I'm spoiled. I just cut an Adobe of my docs and email and digitally sign.(Yup, there are certificates for that.)

I can hook up my office voice mail to my email. But meh. I don't use the phone in the office a lot. Either face to face or I'll use email to document something.

I rather the face to face especially dealing with the people I do, some still deal in a hand shake.

Me too. Most of my work is rather technical so it's easier to explain and show than yammer on the phone endlessly. Email makes it easy for yes or no questions or short, dry fact.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Gemini

Do a little lateral thinking today and it will work wonders. Don't feel hidebound because you're supposed to do things in a certain way, because this is a great opportunity to try a different approach for a change. Even so, you may have to play down your unorthodox technique when talking to anyone who sticks rigidly to convention.
