The more details that come out about Terry Jones, the more we learn how loony and destructive he is. His church has an "academy" where young Christians must cut all ties to family, work for free in Jones' furniture store, obey all commands without question, and are prohibited from dating. Most cults advocate such severing of ties and complete obedience. Also, in the 1980s, he tried to start a ministry in Germany, but got in hot water because he and his followers were urging gravely ill hospital patients to end medical treatment and be healed only by prayer. Two people allegedly died due to this "healing." Talk about your death panel.

Amo 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? If you are dialgue with them then you must be in agreement with their beliefs about our Lord and Saviour. Those ministers need to get saved and run from Islam and it's false God.

"We can take what is evil and turn it to good through interfaith dialogue," said the Rev. Ben Faulk, pastor of Lithopolis United Methodist Church. Just as terorists don't represent all of Islam, Jones doesn't represent Christianity, he said. Clearly, Jones doesn't represent Christianity at large--this goes without saying. But just as clear, is the fact that the majority of Muslims in the US appear to support, sympathize with, or are simply indifferent to Islamic extremist assaults on America and denigrations of our traditional Christian-Judeo values. By the way, where is the ACLU's defense of this guy's right to burn any book that he sees fit? Their (hypocritical) silence is deafening. (The misspelling in the quote above is as it appeared in the original article by the Dispatch)

This "right reverend" is reaching out for members. He doesn't care how radical they are as long as it brings in money to fill the church coffers.

I'm currently ordering as many copies of the Koran as possible from Amazon so I can sell them to True Patriotic Christian Americans of Pure Blood to burn at their church between snake handlings and kerosene drinking sessions. Only $50.00 each. Got to buy at least 50 to make a good bonfire! Also got plenty of gasoline-soaked 2x4s you can make into a cross in case you're feeling nostalgic.

I should get a couple to use to start the fireplace this winter.

He also understood that you cannot convert someone without first understanding them.

No one needs to burn the Koran, just have menstruating women hold it! Yes, and where is the ACLU on this? They defend the Nazi's right to march through Skokie, the right to burn flags, Piss Christ,,,, but the right to burn a Koran?

I couldn't get the koran to light. Probably was still too damp from soaking it in pig urine. Also had copies of the talmud and zohar on the heap but they wouldn't light either, for the same reason.

Yes, they are quite right, you don't want to aspire to anything above "average" in this country. The MINUTE you try to become someone even slightly above average, you will be labeled as an "elitist", and, by GOD, we won't have any of THEM in this country. Oh wait, I'm an atheist.

These people unfortunately are clueless and are in agreement with the antichrists.

The problem is this Pastor should never have gotten any press at all. That is what is inflamming this situation. I'm sure there are a few radical muslims and christians that do things in private that are just as bad or even worse. It is your own business in private. Who ever published this story in my opinion is an antagonist wanting to heat up that holy war...big time.

Read the koran. Know what it teaches. Islam is evil. -Regarding infidels (unbelievers), they are the Muslim's "inveterate enemies" (Sura 4:101). -Muslims are to "arrest them, besiege them and lie in ambush everywhere" (Sura 9:5) -seize them and put them to death wherever you find them, kill them wherever you find them, seek out the enemies of Islam relentlessly" (Sura 4:90). "Fight them until Islam reigns supreme" (Sura 2:193). "Cut off their heads, and cut off the tips of their fingers" (Sura 8:12). - If a Muslim does not go to war, Allah will kill him (Sura 9:39). - A Muslim must "fight for the cause of Allah with the devotion due to him" (Sura 22:78) - Muslims must make war on the infidels (unbelievers) who live around them (Sura 9:123). - Muslims are to be "ruthless to unbelievers" (Sura 48:29). - A Muslim can kill any person he wishes if it be a "just cause" (Sura 6:152). -Anyone who fights against Allah or renounces Islam in favor of another religion shall be "put to death or crucified or have their hands and feet cut off alternative sides" (Sura 5:34). - Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him. Sahih Al-Bukhari (9:57) Slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush.(Koran 9:5)
