Auto registration checks scaring immigrants

"Astonishing how virtually ALL the 617 prior postings have been anti-illegal alien--most of them strongly so.

I suspect the loudest public denunciations come from those who hire illegals, secretly, because they "do such fine work" or are "such diligent workers" or because "who needs all that paperwork?" that is associated with a legal employee.

Have you confused those who work in the USA illegally with space aliens?

There are ample grounds to restrict immigration both illegal and legal but lets keep connected to reality and face facts. The dirty secret of American business is that it **prefers** foreign workers for many reasons. American school children consistently place way down on the list in general knowledge and academic performance compared to those in other developed countries--a fact I well can believe, looking over some of the posts here.

Each time I read a post from an illegal alien invader,(or one of their sympathizers), "speculating" about my ancestry or my domicile or any number of other things, I am heartened because it clearly shows that the poster is 'DESPERATE' due to the poster's rampant 'FEAR' and 'TERROR', that "We, The People",(in good standing), are 'right' and 'justified' in our opposition to the illegal alien invasion. As I've stated before, if what I say weren't so, there would be no need,(for illegal alien invaders or their sympathizers), to make outrageous and unfounded speculative claims,(designed to belittle and denigrate), about me personally. That they do so is proof enough,( to me), that I am right and they are wrong! The observable facts are that auto registration checks 'SCARE' illegal alien invaders,(and their sympathizers), to the point where they are reduced to "twilight zone" arguments! Who doesn't believe that?

The simplistic view we have is ,first:close the Border.Then no more let in!

Second:advise all that are here illegally to leave on their own.If later found,all property will be confiscated and sold to pay for their deportation.There would be no jail time,nor delay in the bus going South!

Of course none in the political scene will do what we see as the correct thing to do to solve the problem.They want amnesty,and to get the vote to remain feeding at the public trough,for their personal gain,not for the good of the Country!!!

What is really sour,is how can the illegals get title,buy property,such as automobiles ,get lecenses and have no proof of insurance,nor citizenship papers?? Our Gov`t at work,again????

"Illegal immigration" is a contradiction in terms since immigration is by definition legal. "Illegal alien invasion" is the correct operating term for those here illegally. Thus the statement, "auto registration checks scaring immigrants",(they have nothing to fear), is a misnomer at best. It should correctly read, "auto registration checks 'SCARING' illegal alien invaders"! And it IS 'SCARING' illegal alien invaders, by the way. Reference their desperate attempts to persuade Americans in good standing, otherwise. Who doesn't believe that?

You have confused legal workers with illegals. Let us not put skilled legal workers and unskilled illegal workers in the same category.

The foreign skilled, educated workers to be compared with American-educated people would have to be legal in order to be hired. I don't think many companies are hiring illegal professionals.

Then there are the illegal workers who have a 6th grade education at best. These are the ones hired because they are cheap.
You can't really compare them to our American children.

BTW, many of the American children who lack general knowledge and don't perform well are the children of the illegals. And when teachers have to "slow instruction down" for these children, the other children are held back.

it is,but do you realize that for allof these posts of "just round em up and ship em home",we are talking about a bigger mobilization that has ever been done in human history.also until we seal the border AND make it too dangerous for employers,shipping them back is an exercise in futility.once again i am all for getting back to legal immigration only,i just realize this is a lot tougher of an issue than most people think.and yes the ins is in charge of this,but do you really think they have the manpower and budget needed for this unprecedented logistical attempt?

Any journey of any length must be started with that 'first step',(no matter how small)! Ridding ourselves of the hated illegal alien invaders is not an easy task. But to give up just because the task is daunting is not an option. Irregardless of the massive difficulty of the task, the task nonetheless must be undertaken. This new law in Ohio,(of auto registration checks), may be a small step for Americans in good standing, but it is a necessary one which, hopefully, will lead to further, larger steps nationwide. Who doesn't believe that?

Since mass deportation has been done in recent US history, I'm confident that the plans still exist in Washington. They'd have to be updated and expanded, but they would work.

Another factor is time. It would take longer, since there are so many illegals. That being said, jobs created for American citizens for this undertaking would last longer and assure families of incomes.

Mass deportation would be a real stimulus to our economy, because the money Americans earn from those new jobs would be spent in the USA, not Mexico.

Ins has 3 agents for all of central ohio.

That is what i have been saying. I do not go to Wendy's or McDonalds anymore. I got tired of my food being thrown out the window at me by someone who could not even speak english! The good news is if you need a burger the White Castle on ROme Hilliard Road does not have any illegals working where you can see them at least! Skyline Chili does nto seem to hire any illegals either.

Let's start a grassroots movement to identify establishments that hire only legal citizens. You will know them because they will speak english!

Re: Able Roofing.... that's right and they really screwed up my siding the last time they worked on it. There are pieces never put on and they screwed up my back door so it doesn't work right.

So the ILLEGAL immigrants are worried their licences are going to be taken. Hell they should have been grabbed when they broke the law sneaking into our country, Any company that hires these ILLEGAL aliens should be fined to the max, and the illegals seized, and immediatly deported leaving anything they aquired here to pay for the cost of shipping them back.

Regrettably, concerned, the choice these days is not between American workers and foreign workers. Would YOU travel a thousand miles to work at minimum wage? These migrants, legal and illegal, would and do.
In my part of the country, many industrial firms are marginally profitable with antiquated plant and technology. The jobs they provide would simply move out, to cheaper labor markets, if minimum-wage labor were unavailable here. So many already have taken this path.
This is a certainty if Americans replaced the foreign workers, particularly if they unionized to demand higher wages and decent benefits--or any benefits at all!
Of course some jobs, service jobs mainly, are not exportable. But let's crack down on ALL exploiters of foreign labor even those who do it in a quasi-legal way like Motorola and Microsoft who demand ever more H1-B visas while laying off American workers.
