What women chose is none of YOUR damn business...perhaps birth control is more accessible, but you "pro lifers" are against that too-which is very odd and inconsistent with the whole idea of women not having unplanned pregnancies.

Maybe it's down because of kids learning about and using birth control. Why didn't this biased journalist mention that possibility?

Im sorry...but it has got to be SOMEONES business. It's murder. So if you decide you don't want your 5 year old anymore because it's "inconvenient"...do you just jab scissors in their neck and kill them? How would that be ANY different than a partial birth abortion?

The religion of rapist's is crowing before the cock this morning. Keep religion out of government and medicine. There is not one religion or government that ever was ,is or will be able to make a life and death decision for a child better than the childs own mother, if the child is living, dying, or unborn. That IS God's law. You shall honor the mother that it may be well with you. You religion nazis are not well. My dead mother knows better than all of you together and the government too. God is love. Religion IS the devil. You religion nazis sit in the house of God showing yourselves that you are the Father. You are the man of sin. Mother nature knows Mother knows best about reproduction, life begining with the first kiss. Go take care of your own rape victims first "Religion", if you know and love the cross. I'm one of them.

Can you belief it. A computer censoring a word straight out of the King James Holy Scripture? This society is so perverse you can't even use the Holy Biblical word that Jesus used to describe a Roman Soldiers bugle the Legions nicknamed the "Rooster crow". Peter was there through 3 changes of the guard.

I'm pro-choice... make the choice BEFORE you make the baby. Like I tell my 16 year old and all of her friends... birth control is easy to get, the knowledge is out there for how to prevent unplanned pregnancies and protect yourself. If you think you're old enough to do the deed (and I do remember being a teen, and all the temptations and curiosities that go with it), you're old enough to take the responsibility for your actions, one way or the other. No matter the reason, I'm glad the abortion count is down.

How would that be ANY different than a partial birth abortion? I love how the pro-lifers always bring up late-term, partial birth abortion. Less than 1% of all abortions are partial birth abortions. The vast majority of them occur during the first trimester of pregnancy, when the embryo cannot survive outside the womb on its own. No one has the right to tell anyone what to do with their own body, so please stay out of my uterus.

Regardless of your opinion, it is legal in our country. Judging by your quote above, I would assume that you're for the death penalty. How can you call yourself pro-"LIFE" if you're only pro-life in certain circumstances? That's pretty hypocritical. You don't get to choose who lives and who dies--trying to play God, are we? Also, even if abortion was illegal, they would still be performed, threatening the life of the mother as well. Countries where abortions are illegal actually spend more money in the health care industry trying to fix abortions performed incorrectly, infections the woman suffers from and so on. Countries that have a pro-active approach to abortion have the lowest abortion rates in the world because they focus on comprehensive sex education, which includes abstinence-only and education on STDs and safe-sex practices. Abortion should remain safe, legal and an absolute last resort. And it should ABSOLUTELY remain a woman's extremely personal decision.

Ok, so they kill them at 8 weeks..when they have fingers, toes and a HEARTBEAT. I love how the pro-baby murderers always think before they talk. And hopefully everything stays out of your uterus.

Ok, first of all..I believe that abortions are more "playing God" than anything. If He doesn't want that child to be born, a miscarraige would occur. Secondly, YES I believe in the death penalty..you know why? THOSE PEOPLE did something to DESERVE being killed. Like I dont know, murder? PLEASE TELL ME WHAT AN UNBORN CHILD DOES TO DESERVE THE DEATH PENALTY? You are a moron.

Though I don't agree with them, I respect your beliefs, so try calming down and having a civil debate without name-calling. If our country was based off of a theocracy, then you could have the argument that God is the basis for all the laws, but as I'm sure you're well aware, we live in a democratic nation where abortion is perfectly legal. I don't understand when people argue that others should just not have sex if they don't want a child. I think if you did your research, you would find that the majority of those who have abortions are responsible people who, for some reason or another, had their method of birth control fail them. I would rather have them have an abortion than read on the news that they dumped their baby in a trash can. You should call yourself pro-fetus. That's the biggest problem I have with pro-life people. They are only "pro-life" if it concerns abortion. According to you, a life is a life. Therefore, if you're truly pro-LIFE, you also would be against the death penalty, war and probably wouldn't eat meat. That's what I meant by playing God--you don't get to choose which life is more valuable than others.

I completely sympathize with victims of rape and incest and couldn't even begin to imagine their pain. But they are a very small percentage of abortions performed today. And still, how many wonderful people out there can't have a child of their own and are BEGGING for one to adopt? I believe there is an opportunity there to turn something so ugly and awful into something wonderful for someone else. Funny thing is... it took me having an unplanned pregnancy of my own to realize that it was a LIFE inside me. And what right did I have to decide on my whim whether it's a baby or 'just a bunch of cells to be removed'(which is exactly what someone I know called an embryo) because I didn't want it or it wasn't convenient for me?

Am I the only one who thinks Kellie Copeland sounds disappointed that there aren't more women who want to kill their babies? I'd like to se her face-to-face and ask her how it feels to be a supporter of murder. Does this woman think that she won't face God one day and have to give an account on why she killed his babies?
