so who is paying for all this draining and cleaning of the pool?

I know the answer......

The same people paying for the kids to go to camp.

Taxpayers.

Job and Family services summer camp needs moved to a lake, so when kids that are scared of water, don't crap themselves.

Swimming lessons should be taught with kindergarden through the 6th grade kids at all public schools.

that will save lives

How ridiculous is this!!! What leadership is there to do something so humiliating??? Just close the pool and ban the swimming the rest of the day or clean it and go on!!!!

Unreal!!!

what a moronic decision to determine the "criminal"! Someone needs to be fired over this! If that would have been my kid forced to show strangers their buttocks,I would be over there kicking someone else's!

"The inspections provided no clues to which child had diarrhea.."

Did they check the counselors suits?

its a shame that action like this has to be taken because the parents are not doing thier jobs. if my kid got sick because of this , i would not file against the camp i would file against the parents that caused it. after these parents end up in court for not doing their jobs and lose their kids they will start doing their jobs

THIS IS what people get for supervising other people's children...

Take your OWN KIDS to the pool. Irresponsible parents pass of responsibility of raising ther kids then are outraged when something goes different than what they think should happen.

What is important is who is NOT paying but suing and complaining.

I think you need to re-read the story. The camp is not put on by Job and Family Services, they license the YMCA to have daycamps/summer camps. The YMCA and it's members is who pays for that pool to be cleaned.

We don't swim in your toilet, so please do not poop in our pool.

Butt seriously folks, I would get all backwoods if some "camp counselor" strip searched my kid.

I have to tell you years ago my kids were in Y camp and it was hidious!!! I see it still is a poor choice of child care.

If they would have done this to my 14 year old daughter I would immediatly be pressing assult charges. No questions asked. Absolutly hidious action by moronic people. Fire them all and clsoe the camp. The kids are better off on the street.

ok, totally inappropriate and stupid to "examine" for evidence..who's the genius responsible for THAT?

just announce

no more pool until the culprit comes forward or gets turned in..play outside in the 90+ degree heat for an hour or two or else teach them how to clean a pool and see how quick u find the kid responsible.

try using common sense instead of feeding somebody's fetish.

No CRIMINAL VIOLATION??? You've got to be kidding me! I'd of gone down there and *uhg huh* taken care of those counselors. I bet if I forced someone to take down there underwear to check for feces, I'd go to prison!

The parents that caused it? Lose their kids? You're an idiot...sorry to break the news to you. Whoever forced those children to do that needs some of their teeth fed to them...pretty simple.

It was highly inappropriate to subject children to this sort of invasive action. It is an outrage! Simply close the pool and have it cleaned or drained. Move on. More than likely it's not the child's fault and no child should be singled out for humiliation. The police should be notified regarding the actions of the staff and measures taken to make certain it does not happen again. My name is Crappo Marx and I approve this message.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Virgo

It's a rather low-key day with a few disappointments to cope with along the way. If you were looking forward to a social event, such as meeting up with friends, it may fail to live up to your expectations. It might even be delayed or postponed through no fault of your own. There could also be problems about how much something is going to cost, forcing you to scale down your plans to make them more affordable.
