james Columbus, OH	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #3 Sep 13, 2009 i would like a bigger return on my check but things dont go that way, don't have a lobbyist in my pocket. my career is not founded on a god given right to have water. as for the brown water... its from the cast iron pipe used. that simple. i was on a pipe crew, we called it black pipe. plastic is used for run-off non pressure. 100+ yrs and all the sudden, water will cost more because of the materials used.

I'm also coming to hate PUCO, as it's obvious they're in bed with the utility companies and have no real interest in helping the consumers. I would donate money to Prairie Twsp if it helps keep the overall rates down.

I used to know many of them where I worked at. They spent their money on "beanie babies" instead of paying their water bill. Does the utility company EVER collect from these people???? They make our rates climb..The utility companies solicit charity donations from customers who pay on time and in FULL! This practice is OUTRAGEOUS!

In Tenns American Water spent $250,000.00 with the Moriah PR Group. But I guess the company doesn't consided it a waste when they can recoup all there PR expense in the next rate hike.
