As I see it, we have two options:

Call the Columbus Fire Chief's office. I can't post the phone number here, but you can find at http://fire.ci.columbus.oh.us/Misc%20HTMLs/Ph ...
Let Ned Pettus know what you think about this case.

Or email your thoughts to the administrative office of the Columbus Division of Fire at ldmmurphy@columbus.gov.

Either way, Chief Ned Pettus needs to know that citizens--especially residents of the city of Columbus-- demand Santuomo's termination.

Act now.

Yes, Sam Shamansky: your client is extremely remorseful and this event is clearly out of character for him.

That must explain his decision to offer the middle finger to the press collected in the courtroom.

I plan on calling Chief Pettus today. This guy is a disgrace, and I don't want a single tax dollar of mine undewriting his salary from this day forward.

Shot them 11 times? When pigs and cows are slaughtered on a farm, a single head shot with a .22 is supposed to be sufficient to kill them quickly. This guy is not only apparently psychopathic, he's obviously stupid (flipping the bird to the media?).

And that's all the punishment he gets...Gotta love the legal system and their approach to animal cruelty.

This "man" if you can call him that is one sicko who sadly didn't get what he should have. Just watching Animal planet animals who SURVIVE and are able to be adopted after horrible treatment their owners aren't allowed to own animals for life! That was the case of the man who starved his dog and because the dog was so hungry he was eating off the trees in the backyard.

If I were him I'd move no doubt people would love to do what he did to those dogs. His punishment was way to lax.

This guy would probably let a baby burn up in a fire too if he had a date going for the evening...what a poor excuse for a human being. His girlfriend is just as creepy I'm sure...too bad they can't live their lives together UNDER the jail !

Dogs give their unconditional love to their owners and how this "man" could look at these two dogs, Skeeter and Sloop, and shoot them is unconscionable! This act should never have happened in the first place, but lying to the children is wrong. For a man having no remorse for his actions, it seems like he is getting off too easy. If he enjoyed it so much this time, when will it stop. Remorseful?? I think not!

This clown should be tied to a pipe in a basement and shot 11 times! Lying about what happened to the animals as far as drinking anti-freeze, lying to his kids about what happened and then giving the middle finger to reporters. What's in store for tomorrow? And only a 90 day jail sentence?

HOPEFULLY HIS EX-WIFE HAS SENSE AND WONT LET HIM SEE HIS CHILDREN, HARD TO TELL WHAT HE WOULD DO TO THEM. HOPE HE FINDS BUBBA IN JAIL!!!!!!!!!! CARMA IS A B**CH!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry. I see this as WAY over the top. It's not like he offed his kids or anything. Sorry, they were dogs. Not everyone holds them in such great reverence. Also keep in mind the skew on this story. After all, the guy flipped of the press...

This guy needs to be put to death himself in the most inhumane way possible. What a scum and Fire Station 27 @ 7560 Smokey Row Road needs to get rid of this man IMMEDIATELY! They will be getting a letter from me and this piece of crap better not be near me while I'm on the road as I have no remorse or forgiveness for someone of his level.

50 % of this story is not true. They didn't even get the dogs names right! And, there is another half to the story that no one is even aware of. It is not your job to judge people. God will do that and he will be condemned accordingly.

What would the "Court" have done if this man was not a fire fighter? I doubt that his fellow fire fighters have ANY respect for him. I certainly would not to would with him.

This is a sick mind. This guy is a monster. I'm surprized he wasn't a cop since they seem to attract so many sadistic, cruel types nowadays.
