I thought judges were supposed to apply the logic of the law, not supposition and hearsay? "Trained expert" or no, someone's opinion, unsupported by physical evidence, is in itself indicative of reasonable doubt. Clearly, Justice O'Connor has had a break with reality - and judicial integrity. She may want to consider recusing herself from the court after a ruling like this.

In my understanding we are given the right to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If the officer cannot prove what speed the defendant is going or prove the minimum speed the vehicle was going, then the defendant should be considered innocent.

This is complete bullshit! So basically cops can do what ever they please... also they are so lazy they dont have to sit and do radar they can just pull over whoever whenever and if it seems like your going over the speed limit here is $200 fine. I wish cops got tickets too then they would understand the big deal. I know speeding is"wrong" but everyone does it once and a while!

THIS is a master plan to pick up more revenues for the city with all the cuts backs made in city budget and government cut backs. Again they hit the tax payers. This is deceitful corruption at its best.. I will vote these judges out as well.

Well, Well, Well... It has been said time and time again which is, "There is a very fine line in the difference between a Cop and a Crook".
And Yes I truly believe this. Our judicial system has become so disoriented which we can no longer entertain as good or bad. Prosecutors determine what sentencing should be handed out, not our judges. I wonder how many times prosecutors and defense attorneys sit over drinks after a hard day in the court room all together saying "Hey next time I get to win the case"! No longer is it truth but what can I do for my career, as I climb to the top. Trust a Cop, Attorney, a Judge, good luck my friend, see you in the court room.
