Craig Patrick didn't sign on just because McConnell picked up the phone. Have you noticed the improvement of Phoenix? That wasn't done without "input." The awarding of the All Star Weekend to Columbus is proof that the league is working to make the franchise succeed.

Now it is too large, too much suburbia. Nobody wakes up in the morning and says "let's go to Columbus, Ohio." As for the Buckeyes, I am not much of a fan, but at least they can win a game.
