What demeanor? Tressel is always, well Jim Tressel. The same. It was a great move making the suspended players give their word to return next year. Break your word and your a bum to Buckeye fans. Keep it and you are a legend.
But, re TP, I have had enough of that spoiled brat. Addition by subtraction would work in that case.

Tressel has handled this the right way. Instead of just letting them play and make a decision to enter the NFL, he made them put their character on the line and commit to coming back before they can play. The NCAA decided that they are eligible for this game, but Tressel made them well aware that if they want to escape the punishment, they will not get the big game experience they need heading into the draft.

Slap on the wrist. Political gaming. These losers should have been suspended from the Sugar Bowl and everyone knows it. Tressel could have set the standard for his program, but he played the dollars game instead. OSU is tarnished.

If you think tOSU is tarnished from this blip on the radar, you better get some silver polish, cuz this fan base is here to stay! What a chump!

Will this increase or decrease the number of those so highly prized ugly tattoos? Let us not forget that part of the motivation to win the game may be for the players to acquire more memorabilia to sell. Time to move on.

I find it sad that Kirk H. found it necessary to make a negative statement as to Pryors value to the Buckeyes. Addition by subtraction sounds clever but it in fact is not accurate. In his position as an analyst he cannot show partiality to his alma mater, but he need not make such statements just to prove his impartiality. He may have seemed all knowing to his cohorts i.e. Mark May but did little to make some of us to care what he has to say in the future. Kirk don't try so hard to be all-knowing and just stick to the facts.

Thanks for the brilliant observation.

Using his comments about Pryor you would think he would say because of Mike Vicks problems off the field the Eagles would be better without him. With Vick, Eagles=playoff team. Without him, Eagles=on vacation right now. Pryor screwed up, but it doesn't change anything on the field.

I've lost a lot of respect for Tressel throughout this ordeal. It would be nice to see him demonstrate a little backbone instead of sounding like a lawyer minimizing the damage. It won't matter if they win or not, because the actions of the tat rats and the spineless reaction and coddling by the administration has tainted the Buckeyes with a stench that will remain.

Now that Rodriguez is gone, let Michigan have him and these five bums. Definitely would be addition by subtraction.

Lost to Vince Young and Texas, Lost twice to USC, cannot beat Wisc, and beats a Mich team that hasnt been good in 15 years. Jim Tressel = avg coach who is overhyped. I guess beating a BCS bowl team from the SEC is meaningless? Thanks for playing.
