It's not just men, what about the women that prey on the young boys? I admit that it is mostly men, but some women are just as bad.

Legalized prostitution would cure this problem, and the taxes would more than balance the state budget.

I remember a couple of female teachers I would have liked to have had a "relationship" with when I was a teenager,but alas,they had morals back in those days.

This was consensual. It was a "relationship". This is not a pervert raping or molesting a young kid. This is a young girl exploring her sexuality with a man who should have known better. Many 13 year old girls are mature enough physically to have sex. Whether or not they are mature enough mentally is another question entirely. Again, he should have known better and should not have gotten involved with someone so young. So he will do the time.

However, the "witch hunt mentality" that is being displayed on this forum just shows how screwed up our nation has become. I'm not saying what this guy did deserves no punishment. But the world is not black and white. This girl is likely sexually mature enough to know what sex is, want it, and potentially reproduce. Yet the puritanical masses will have you believe that she is just a child that doesn't know any better and is being preyed upon by some sick pervert who deserves to spend the rest of his life in jail.

I have an 11 year old daughter. And it makes me sick to think that in a couple of years she will be a woman. But I'm not so naive as to believe that she won't be thinking about sex. Which brings me to my final point... where were the parents during all of this?
